From start to finish, the entire experience was fantastic. Angel and his crew were incredibly friendly, professional, and communicated with us throughout the entire process, so we always knew what to expect. They also had the challenge of working through a very narrow pathway to access the shed with lots of overhanging plants, but they handled it with impressive skill and care. The cleanup was exceptional--you would hardly know such a major demolition had taken place. They left the area spotless, which we really appreciated. On top of the excellent work, Angel was able to fit us into their schedule quickly and charged a very fair, reasonable price. If you're looking for a reliable demolition company that does quality work and truly cares about their customers, I highly recommend them!

I hired Golden Boy in May 2024 to move most of my possessions into storage. When I returned, I…read morenoticed they had been careless and broken some items. I am disappointed by that but even more upset because they haven't taken responsibility for it or compensated me for the damage. I haven't gotten even a single return call or e-mail from the owner. I am beginning to think they don't have the legally required insurance, because if they did, they could have easily made a claim 4 months ago when I first contacted them. Instead, I've been stuck with a broken TV and a broken bedside table for nearly 5 months now. The tl;dr version: Because Golden Boy's employees wasted my storage space, they had to cram a lot of things in the front of the unit and thus broke some expensive items, including the TV, whose screen wasn't protected or wrapped properly at all. I was out of state for 16 months, so I didn't know anything was broken until I came back in October 2025. I immediately called and left messages for Oscar Gonzalez and sent him e-mail, but he is now conveniently unreachable. I have gotten no reply to my e-mails (with receipts attached) or voice messages, so I have not been compensated for the broken TV or the antique table with the splintered shelf. I need the old TV to prove it's broken, so I'm stuck with it taking up space in my apartment. Their website says "no excuses" and "100% satisfaction" but I haven't gotten a response from Oscar at all, just empty promises. On moving day, I had to be at my house directing traffic and clearing out my fridge, so I did not see their work at the storage space. I gave $330 cash to my realtor to tip the men. He got the padlock keys from them; all he said was that the space was very full and mailed me the keys. I lived with friends in Maine for 16 months after that. When I returned and opened the door, I that's when I noticed a lot of fragile items piled up at the front, including antique furniture and my television. Among the items I stored were two steel storage cabinets and a large industrial storage shelf. But instead of using the cabinets to store any of the dozens of boxes, the cabinets were left empty and the boxes were stacked on the floor. Then they ran out of space and put very heavy boxes on the little shelf, breaking it. I'm really tired of movers being careless with my furniture. I am not a celebrity but I deserve to have my possessions treated with care.

We had a mess, and did not address all of it until this month. My wife called Alex and got a callback almost immediately. We had been trying for a couple weeks to get someone out to do the job - this after we spent two weekends trying to organize and clean up best as we could. All my wife had to do was send some pics, and within 30 minutes she got a quote and was asked when we wanted them to come. NEXT DAY. They showed up not just on time, but a little early. It's 96º and miserable. Alex and his Dad came here with a very large truck. Within an hour, they had placed everything (and more) into their truck, swept up, and basically made us very happy! It may not be glamorous work, but it's important work, and finding someone who does their job well and is nice on top of it is a rare find. If you live in Pasadena, Altadena, Sierra Madre, or any nearby community give these guys a call. I will 100% do so when we need their help again. A credit to local workers. Support them! Trust them! Thanks guys.
