Nick has a fantastic eye to maximize efficiency and beauty in small spaces, and placed spice racks in my kitchen I never would have thought of! Prior to the job, we talked and decided on the look I wanted, and he gave me some great suggestions. He is big on communication and lets you know what is going to happen next. His crew did a very professional job of cleaning up the work spaces as we were living in the house when the renovation took place. I get soooo many compliments on both my kitchen and bathroom. I would would use them again on any other major project. I am very particular and pay attention to detail and Nick and his crew made sure I was happy.

IF I COULD GIVE O STARS, I WOULD…read more When we met with Nick Sanchez, he told us he would restore our home to its pre-loss condition. We trusted him to complete the job. Instead, he abandoned the job during my pregnancy and shortly after we had paid him more than $19,000, leaving unfinished work and subcontractor issues that needed correction. He informed our insurance company that the project was 98% complete, even though work remained unfinished and some work required correction. He later filed a civil lawsuit against us seeking payment that we dispute, including amounts we maintain had already been paid, mitigation payment, and amounts for work that was not completed. Before he abandoned the job, at his direction, we met his wife, Carmen Fimbres, at their bank to deposit a check payment. The check was processed, and we have documentation of that payment. The amount is nevertheless included in the money he is seeking from us. Communication was also difficult. He expected his calls to be answered immediately. On more than one occasion, after I returned his call, he spoke to me in a harsh, raised tone and said, "Do you have a problem with me?!" We are now dealing with the stress of an unfinished project and a lawsuit over money we believe was already paid. Based on our experience, we would not recommend Nicholas Sanchez Jr. or NS Construction.

They have always been so helpful with finding me products that I need to finish jobs correctly in my line of work in facilities maintenance and they're always there to answer questions regarding products and technical support. I know there's a bunch of other guys that work there that are part of that team that I don't know by name, but I do appreciate all that they do too. On top of that, they carry high-quality products, they have a great paint selection, and all sorts of additional painting supplies. If they don't have something there, their sister store at the Imperial location, just may have it. I highly recommend working with these guys if you're a professional contractor or painter, or even if you're just a homeowner out looking for some of the best products you can use.
