I was very disappointed and upset with the poor service I received during my recent visit to the salon. This past weekend, I came in for a gel manicure and selected a bright pink polish. Within just a day and a half, I noticed the polish had faded significantly, it appeared spotty, lighter, and uneven. I called and spoke to Reina, who informed me that your policy only allows free fixes for chipped polish, not for quality of product issues such as color fading. I requested to speak to a supervisor or manager, but Reina said there was no high authority, only a receptionist. She then told me she had to leave, and that someone else "willing not to charge" would help me. She told me to come in and the receptionist would figure it out. I was also told that my original nail technician, Laura, declined to fix the issue due to concerns the same thing would happen again repeatedly due to the defective nail polish. I asked if I could switch to a different polish of a similar color, and Reina said that was acceptable over the phone. However, when I arrived and spoke with Lani and Julie (the receptionist), there was no other option other than that I had to use the same defective polish or pay \$25 for a "color change." I explained that I didn't want a new color, only a working version of the original shade using a non-defective polish, but was still told I would need to pay. Again, I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor and was told there was none. Three nail techs asked why don't I just change the color, and I told them Lani said I'd be charged. Lena, my go to nail technician, kindly offered to help me at no charge. However, Julie approached her and repeatedly insisted she should charge me, saying it would be "on her" if she didn't. I have been a loyal customer for almost two years and have recommended your salon to family and friends. Unfortunately, I have found the receptionist staff to consistently be rude and unprofessional--both toward clients and their own nail technicians. It is concerning to see receptionists eating, talking about personal life and lounging while costumers are around, and to experience such poor customer service repeatedly. I value my nail technician and the quality of her work, but the reception staff's behavior and lack of professional conduct have significantly diminished the overall experience. I hope this issue is reviewed by someone in a position of authority and that appropriate action is taken to improve staff training, especially regarding customer service and conflict resolution. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and instantly sat down for a pedicure. The gentleman was more than nice and accommodating, made me feel comfortable and like I made a good choice. Went with my sister for a pedicure. They were well staffed, so we got right in, no wait. That was surprising since it was a Saturday. You must flip through a few pages of the menu to find the basic manicure, but I chose a bit of an upgrade with hot stones. I went in for a pedicure and had a very kind older lady. Her gel lamp said Rosa, but I'm unsure if that was her name. The pedicure was going fine until she cut me when using the cuticle removers making my big toe bleed. When I looked down I did not see those sanitizer bags that they usually open for the clean tools. I started paying attention and realized I don't think anything she was using was sterilized or clean. She used a buffer for the bottom of my foot and cleaned it off inside the water with a brush before placing it back in her tray where she had all her tools. This lady was very sweet and did a decent job on my pedi, but I need people to be aware of the risks and infections you can get from them not using clean tools. I haven't had my nails done in years and I decided to treat myself. I am so glad I chose deluxe nails. This was my first time here and I was surprised by how huge it was inside. The walk-in process was easy. After you register, you sign in using the Ipad. I waited no more than 5 minutes and my nail tech was Anthony, who was professional, friendly, and easy to talk with. I felt like I had been seeing Anthony for years, as he was really personable, and we had some fun and banter back an fourth. He helped me to chose a color and I'm glad I opted for a gel polish too. The technician, Kim, who already took three hours to complete the service, snapped and scolded me for not realizing my issue sooner. I opted to keep the final product because the tech threatened to abandon the service and have me waiting till another tech would be available. I think it's safe to say that in El Paso its nail shops by the dozen:/ however I have landed on three that are actually worth anything this is my third favorite. Third because of the price and location. It's not far off Joe Battle. I like the atmosphere and most of the nail clerks are pretty good HOA is my favorite. She speaks perfectly good English. They took us in quickly but they do not sanitize their equipment. I noticed that as soon as we came in. My mom and I were getting mani/pedis, before we knew it there were four people around us. Two were doing our pedicure and the other two were doing our manicures. It felt like we were a race car in a pitstop. They placed the water bowls for our manicures on our laps so we had to maneuver the bowl as the other person worked on our pedicure. It was awful my mom even spilled the water on her lap. We couldn't even relax because the four of them were yapping away, and two of them were standing in between us doing our manicure. They got nail dust all over our pants, and she filed down my gel color instead of soaking it, like I originally asked her to. Yeah we were out of there within 30 min, but you can imagine what a crappy and rushed job they did. They were literally painting our nails in the air. At the end the lady tried to over charge me by $30, luckily I have experience with this type of places so I had already done the math. I left a $10 tip, and she told me it's for four people! I've been going to this salon for about five years now. Not religiously, but long enough to know who to avoid and who to not. I've never been fully pleased these years and haven't ditched this place because I don't want to do my eyebrows anywhere else, but after this I definitely will have to! Last Saturday I went in quite early for a mani, pedi and eyebrow wax. The lady that helped me with all the services is one I've always tried to avoid. She's not the friendliest and has messed up my eyebrows a few times. This time, after my mani and pedi, she probably was already annoyed of me that when it came to my eyebrows, she quickly waxed them. One, two, three. No clean up with tweezers, no trimming, nothing. Oh and not to mention I always had to grab my own cotton piece with aloe for a while until they started doing it. For the pedicure, I was asked to choose a packet (which I chose #2) a $55 packet. Tell me why at the register, that had turned into $77. Over $20 extra just for gel. That's ridiculous. For manicure, I don't remember the exact price, but for it being gel and with a design on two fingers each hand (which by the way, I asked for SUNFLOWERS and got whatever flowers she wanted) it also boosted up the price by about $20. It was horrible. Not to mention they shove the card swiper in your face when asking for tip at the register. I can honestly say she did NOT deserve my $20 tip. After being on her headphones the whole time, it's no surprise she didn't give me the design I wanted but the one SHE thought I would like. The total came out to $160 for a poorly done pedicure (it was a plain white gel color that the other salon I had attended previously did a much better job with), manicure that has chipped off by now after a WEEK, and lazy-done eyebrows. I went to the Deluxe Nail Spa for a manicure and pedicure. Thao started the pedicure, and rushed through most of the service with tools that did not look clean. She then proceeded to use the pumice stone that was full of dead skin and callus remover from a previous service and proceeded to use it on my feet. When I noticed, I asked if it had been used, and she proceeded to say that there was just "cream" on there, although she had not put anything on it prior to using it on me and simply grabbed it from the bottom of her caddy. I also noticed that there were no fresh tools on her caddy nor did it appear that there were any sanitized. This is unacceptable, especially in this COVID-19 environment. read more

My mom wanted to get our nails done together but since I had literally just got a manicure before I came to visit, also had my eyebrows done as well. The woman who did my pedicure proceeded to ask me if I wanted a manicure, despite them clearly being freshly done and the host girl telling her that I only wanted a pedicure. She then told me that I couldn't get that one because it doesn't include toenail polish removal. I'm new to El Paso and unfamiliar with what's normal here but I've never been anywhere that charged extra to take off not even an inch of regular (not gel or anything special) toenail polish off my Big Toe. But why even act like I had an option to begin with? I had to get the spa pedicure for $30. Not outrageous but I notice that they nickel and dime you for every little thing. I just had my pedicure done and was left to wait for my toes to dry at the pedicure chair not the dryer while my mom was getting her nails buffed. This wasn't a big deal, however once we were ready to leave I had to throw away my own flip flops and those things that spread your toes. They didn't even have an actual trash can or designated bin to throw it away. I had to shove it in the little trash hole they have for paper towels. They started our pedicures together at 3:53 and we left at 5:30. I didn't get a manicure and all they did was buff my moms fingernails. I was waiting for my mom so long I had assumed she was getting acrylics or something. No. It was over an hour an a half for two pedicures and buffed fingernails with no wait. The staff overall was rude. The woman doing my pedicures were clearly laughing and looking at me while speaking to her coworker. The guy who buffed my moms nails cut her multiple times and then said the reason she was bleeding was because she had "thin blood." Even if she was bleeding excessively (she wasn't) what does that have to do with the fact that you cut her hand, several times? She also said that he barely shaped her nails and she had to insist that he redo it. I should have looked at the reviews before I came. I'm horrified to read that they don't sanitize their equipment.
