It was new to them at the time and we worked through the details together. I had good vibes from him right away! He was honest and upfront about everything. His quote was accurate. When the work started, we didn't know quite what to expect. We had heard horror stories from friends about other contractors, starting a job, and then it sitting for weeks or months before they would come back to finish it. Gord and his crew were amazing! From the day they started, they were there EVERY SINGLE DAY working until the job was done! They were respectful of our home. They were polite when we chatted with them. My husband and I were so impressed! They even played with our pups when they were in the yard periodically. I cant say enough good things about Gord and his team. I would confidently recommend to anyone this great team. Thank you all for the work you did. I still come home some days and admire my home and what you were able to do with it!

We received 5 quotes from various installers ranging from $4,000 to $9,000 for a new one. Some came and looked at the job before quoting a price and 2 just quoted a figure. We decided to go with one that came and looked. A couple of installers said as a rule the chimney and flashing would be replaced without even knowing the condition of the existing one. One even said that the AC part would be replaced as well. The lowest quote came from Airtech. They didn't need to replace the chimney or AC cooling unit and even relocated our 2 wire thermostat system to a new location with a 4 wire system. The techs arrived exactly on time, replaced the furnace and were finished and out the door in under 3 hrs. They were very professional and extremely good at their job. Total cost with labour and GST was under 5K. Kudos to AIrtech and their installers. We would highly recommend their service to anyone looking to replace their unit.
