This barbershop was everything that a barbershop should be. It had that old-school feeling of walking into a barbershop and being able to just chat with the guys working there, but with a modern twist and they knew how to do all of the latest hairstyles for men. It felt very much like walking into a New York City barbershop and paying only a fraction of the cost. I can't believe this place has been here for four months and this was my first time going there. I would definitely take advantage of the yelp check in offer for five dollars off. I got my haircut by Andy who was an absolute pro. Decided to check this place out cuz i saw a picture of my boy avi on one of the yelp photo's haha it turned out being a pretty dope place! I decided to try out andy bc i saw a few ppl mentioning his work on yelp. I gotta say he did not disappoint. He took his time which is really important when it comes to barbering. You can tell he really cares for his clients. After we were done i was greeted very nicely by the owner mike who personally knew my friend avi haha he handed me a card that said i get every 8th haircut for free which was an incredible way to gain business. im really looking forward to giving him a try next time. I used to get haircuts from my barber for 2 years and never knew there could be something better. I ate dinner one night, and Robert the barber, came up to me, initiated conversation and told me that he could do a much better job. I came to him the following week and was not diss appointed. I went on a school holiday and the wait was long because they only had on barber to facilitate . I got Andy and gave me a great haircut. Normally I go to Astor Place in NYC, this was on my way home and I love the convenience of paying by cc too. No loud music and they had Spoetscenter on. I highly recommend it. He knows exactly what is needed to get the perfect cut, and if there is an issue with your hair, he will tell you how to fix it instead of just going over it and getting his pay. young but has experience.
