This is a great shop, highly recommended. I am generally very picky but Alex does a great job and always gives a consistent fade and beard trim. Many have a hard time perfecting the fade but these guys got it down. I haven't had a cut with Gali but from what I see he also gives high quality cuts. If you're looking for a new barber, definitely recommend trying this place out. They make appointments so call ahead of time. read more

To start off, I'm never going anywhere else for a haircut. New York Master Barbers in Franklin Square is just different. They have a great vibe, and the barbers actually listen to what you want. I came in for a quick trim with my husband and our son--and wow, they both came out lookin GREAT. Best men's haircut I've seen in a while, and my kid's fade was perfect. What I love is it didn't feel like a chore. It was a good experience, fast but not rushed, and just overall good energy. You can tell these barbers got skills, and they care. Honestly, this place showed me the power of a proper shape-up and beard trim. Highly recommend this spot if you need a barbershop in Franklin Square or anywhere nearby like Elmont, Garden City, or West Hempstead. Whether it's a kids haircut or beard detailing for the fellas, they got you. I'll defintely be coming back every time I need a cut. read more

Really glad I found New York Master Barbers. I had been searching for a reliable barbershop near Garden City NY that does both men's haircuts and professional beard trims, and this place exceeded expectations. I booked online which was super convenient, and the appointment started right on time--no waiting around like other spots. Gali was my barber and he was fantastic. Very focused, detail-oriented and clearly experienced. He gave me a clean skin fade and shaped my beard exactly the way I asked. You can tell this is a shop that actually cares about precision cuts and grooming--not just rushing people in and out. The shop itself is really clean and has a comfortable atmosphere. I'm from Garden City and it's a quick drive, totally worth it. If you're in the area (Franklin Square, West Hempstead, Elmont, etc.) and searching for a men's barbershop that does fades, shape-ups, and hot towel shaves, this is the place. Prices are fair too, especially considering the quality of service. I've paid more at places that didn't come close. Will definitely be back, this is now my go-to. read more

just got a haircut here after I searched for a barbershop near me since I was in the area for work. Have to say im so happy that im willing to say they are the best barbershop in Franklin Square! read more

I'm writing this review for my husband Nick. He is always talking about how great this place is and he will not go anywhere else! He particularly likes the way Gali cuts his hair. He really likes the music they play and the whole vibe that they have going on there. When we first met, I actually asked him where he gets his hair cut because he looked FINE AF lol, I'm not even joking! If you are looking for a barber that is consistent and great at what he does, ask for Gali at New York Master Barbers. You will not be disappointed. read more

Hidden gem I can't believe I stumbled across this place and drove by it many times... I was in a jam and needed a haircut and decided I'm going to pop in I happen to get cut by the barber Alex and I could not be more happy.... He took care of me on short notice and gave me an incredible haircut... I am now a customer for life and I highly recommend this shop!!! read more

When you make an appointment and show up early, you don't expect the place to be CLOSED. Not a way to run a business.

I don't usually leave reviews for good or bad service. But I had a really bad experience here at the hands of MR Panda. He mess up my haircut and beard, is going to take a few weeks for it to grow back, so I guess is not the end of the world. The only good thing going for you now MR is your great attitude, but dude you really needs to look into adjusting your expertise for better. Like I said I'm not a type of review guy, but dude you really F me up for the weekend. read more

My family and I have been coming here for years and it never disappoints. They are spot on with their appointments and the haircuts are always fresh. I have an Autistic nephew and they are very patient and understanding with him. Gali and Panda are A-1 read more

The absolute only place to get a quality haircut in Nassau. All of the barbers here are skilled and attentive to detail. Never left once with a bad cut in over 10 years of exclusively getting my hair done here. They just renovated the interior looks great. Keep up the great work guys!! read more

Al's crew is always top natch and down to earth, professionals. They always remember how you want your hair cut. Furthermore, they will be straight with you if you think of changing your look, they wont just cut what you say without discussing what will work. This is because they understand that everyone has diffent shapes heads and thickness to hair. Very family oriented. I have even seen them help thoughs that unfortunately could afford a haircut. Been going there since they opened, 10 plus years. That place is on top of what looks are out there. They are not like the other places that have been changed names and owners over time. First opened as New York Master Barbers and there has never been a need or want to change their name just because of troubling times. This place has always had its strong following for a reason. read more

I've been coming here since it opened with the very few times my friends dragged me somewhere else near town. Gali is always on point and makes my hair perfect from the fade to the lines even when I leave it long and he uses clippers I have never had a bad haircut from here and recommend these guys to everyone. The shops in town are super overpriced and by far. Now that they started doing appointments it makes it easier to make sure you're in and out. They still take walk ins and their always up beat and can always put a smile on your face within a minute of you walking in. Overall if I could give this place a 10/10 I would. read more

I went there the other day for the first time. I asked for a skin tape up and a shave. My haircut looked terrible! I looked like I was going to join the military. He also shaved my beard with no hot towel or shaving cream. He rushed my haircut and it took him 10-15. Also he charged me $35 for a terrible job and said something sleek in his language when I didn't give him a tip. I will never go back and I would say far away from this place! I got the worst razor bumps. read more

By far the best barbershop that I've found in Long Island. Speedy, precise and dependable barbers. I felt very confident and satisfied with my haircut. Wow! I will definitely return to get my haircuts from here from now on. #1 on my list of barbers who know what they're doing. read more

The best spot to get a nice haircut and a quick laugh. The best in NY. Arty can cut good and so can Gali. They both the best.

I got a haircut from Yan. He did a great job! As a female with short hair I was apprehensive using a barber but he used shears and point cut and my hair came out fabulous.. quick service and not pricey at all. :) proof is in the photos... read more

I've been living in the area for 16 years, and ever since I discovered this place, it's the only barber shop where I'd get my haircut. Al and his team are always on point; they listen to what you want and deliver with their cuts; they're always friendly and easy to talk to; they're very family-oriented and handle every customer with respect. Al is just as great of a owner as he is a barber. He always greets you when you walk in the door and always says bye when you leave. Plus, his team of barbers are just as good and always ready to hear what you wanna do, whether it's the usual or maybe something new. read more

nicest barber shop i have been too in years the music they play is awesome. mike is a good guy, however, this one guy the heavy set guy was horrible. The guy was giving me an attitude when i told him wat i wanted. He seemed like he never cut hair in his life. i was literally arguing with him over wat i wanted. He was very unprofessional. Every time i told him he wasn't cutting my hair the way i told him that i wanted it to be cut, he told me that tht was wat i asked for when i didnt ask for it. i can cut better hair than him i might as well apply for a job there and take his spot. i hope mike takes a good look at this because i feel bad not coming here anymore it shouldnt be one good person to rely on it should be a whole crew to be relied on. read more
