The first thing that I noticed was that the shop was very clean. There are about a 1/2 dozen chairs and a plane for kids, or I guess small adults. Our barber did a great job. My son squirms all over and doesn't stop talking. He got him to follow his directions and gave him a great cut. We will be back soon because his hair grows like weeds. The spot is modern looking, plenty of large TV's, couches, and a pool table. The gowns you wear during your haircut have a little plastic screen where you can just look down at your phone and use it during the haircut (genius idea.) Its just a dope spot to just chill while you wait for a haircut. I get my hair cut by Donnie who is a young thug. He is a real cool dude. He ain't afraid to ask me on my birthday if i'm gonna get some birthday sex even though I told him i'll be going straight to church after my haircut to preach a sermon. He's down to earth, makes fun conversation, and most of all, he cuts hair well! And that hot towel at the end is the cherry on top. Reliable spot, and well priced, around ~$16.

Nothing rushed, nothing sloppy. Five years at this shop and it shows -- the guy knows his craft. He also has his son and another man working there for a total of 3 Barbers. I went on a Friday early afternoon and it wasn't crowded. The shop itself has character. I'm a sucker for the little details, and that old turn-of-the-century rustic ceiling is a gem -- you don't see craftsmanship like that anymore. Clean, well laid out, family-run feel. The cut was $20 -- an honest price -- Vlad lives in Queens, I work in Queens, so we had plenty to talk about. Good conversation makes a good haircut even better. Two practical tips: the parking lot is tight with limited spots, so don't show up expecting valet. And when you leave, turn RIGHT -- making a left out of the lot is a gamble since the sight lines to the left are rough. Solid cut, solid guy, solid price. I was "vlad"(glad) he cut my hair.
