Well, the guy working behind the counter on Friday nights is a complete dick. Not only did he NOT address our lane when it broke down, but he wouldn't move us to another set, even though there were 8 other lanes open. After my girlfriend asked him to move us, he said no. He actually told her no, he wouldn't move us, wouldn't do anything about the one we were on that was jammed up, and actually turned on the one she asked for with no one on it and typed in "NEENER NEENER" as the name. Bowlers beware of the hourly rate. Our bowling ball got stuck twice and delayed us 10 minutes so our 20 minutes a game went 10 minute over the hour because the guy too so long to retrieve it and then we got charged $4.00 extra and wasn't our fault. The guy was rude and would not give us the 10 minute credit. Also the place is dirty and old. Never will go again. Just isn't good customer service. Probably the least busiest lanes in Pensacola. Closest bowling alley to the University. So this was our choice for bowling night when all other lanes had leagues. Older lanes, equipment and balls. Music was playing too low and didn't get the energy going. Just straight up bowling. The price was pretty good per person. $12 for 3 games including shoes. Attendants didn't pay much attention to issues on the lanes, so we had to walk up to the desk to get anything fixed. It did the trick for what we were looking for. A night out for family bowling. Not the most fun bowling experience we've ever had. read more

A hidden gem if you're looking for a place that's not busy and seemingly long forgotten. The equipment is old and outdated. With that in mind we had many issues that the attendants should have noticed but took us going to the counter each time to resolve. The music was also way too loud and made things a bit awkward while trying to bowl. I happen to live a few houses from the bowling alley and they are terrible neighbors. Loud and obnoxious drunks yelling at one another in the parking lot and side yard for their bar. Until recently the parking lot lights were kept off to save money. This created a safety hazard and just recently a car drove into a ditch in the parking lot. The fence separating the business from the neighborhood is falling down and the owner won't spend the money to fix it. The alarm system goes off all night long. Its seems as though no money is put back into the business for any sort of improvements or general upkeep. The owner is a rude and nasty jerk along with a handful of the staff. You're better off spending your money at an establishment that provides good customer service and values and appreciates its customers patronage and their safety. read more

Had a birthday party for my oldest daughter today. It was her 9th birthday and her first time going bowling. I can't say enough about this place and how they do their parties. The staff was very helpful and polite. They took care of food and drink plus the shoe rental and the bowling. They were attentive and catered to us very well. Was our first time here and it definitely won't be the last. They have just gained some new customers as I'm sure we will be back. The atmosphere was great and everyone had a blast! If you are not sure where your next party should be. This place is a no brainer as we are experiencing high places this place will save you same cash. We love Deluna lanes. It is very difficult to find bowling alleys at all any longer. Pensacola surprisingly has three to choose from. We have been to all three and the choice of Deluna, for us at least, is a no brainer. Every employee is long term, is obviously happy to be there, and treats you like they really appreciate your business. The owner of almost 40 years is there often and still puts in the hours helping customers, offering professional advice for the uninitiated (ex PBA competitor), and helping his employees in servicing customers. It is quite rare to see this kind of dedication to both employees and customers in a long established business. You can tell the employees appreciate this and it comes through to the customers. We strive to support local businesses that treat customers like family and would not dream of going anywhere else. read more

I've been bringing my family here weekly for the past 7 months. We come on Fridays early before league and my wife bowls on a team. The staff is great. Very knowledgable and polite. The facilities have always been clean, the cafe delicious, and the lanes are well maintained. The league is such a fun atmosphere and we've made many friends. There are people that are beginners and people that were on the PBA tour. It's been an absolute blast and one of the highlights of my week every week! read more

Great place to take the kids. Only cost $3 a game per person during the week before 5. They have bumpers and the metal things to help the little kids roll the balls down the lane. We went on a Thursday morning right when they opened and it wasn't busy at all. Had a great time. read more

Mediocre bowling but not a horrible time. Went in over this last weekend with my dad and husband, and we enjoyed ourselves. The place is a little out dated but honestly I feel like most bowling alleys are nowadays. The front desk staff was courteous but the woman behind the food counter was rude as all get out. My husband ordered a pitcher of beer, it took about 20 minutes for the woman to get the beer so I had to wait so he could bowl. She comes back with the pitcher and then 1 glass.... for 2 people (I wasn't drinking) and when I asked for another glass she looked at me like I asked for her first born child and then questioned my age (I am of age, just wasn't drinking) so that put me in a sour mood. Other than that the bowling was fun, I would just steer clear of the food counter. read more

Nothing special, outdated. They offer several deals on certain days. During the summer kids bowl 2 games free. They had old equipment too. No issue with our lane. Had to pay for music via jukebox, otherwise silence. They had the usual, bowling shop, bar and grille, arcade room with pool tables and video games for kids. I went here with my friends for her birthday when we walked in we we're the only ones there the manager was really nice and even offered to show us where the lighter balls were kept. However the front desk staff was very rude and didn't seem to care once the manager left and was just rude and acted like we did something wring when we asked to trade for different sized shoes. We we're very poorly treated when we went the get some food, the lady working the counter was very rude and rolled her eyes when we asked for something and was not welcoming and made us feel very uncomfortable. These lanes are definitely less crowded than your option on airport. The facility isn't the newest but it's clean, and most importantly the staff is great. When showing up on a Sat with two little ones, the gentleman behind the counter made sure we were set far off from league play, set up the bumpers, grabbed kid's bowling balls for us, and even set up a roll assist device. Can't say enough how great it was to have such polite and helpful service. If you are planning on taking the kids to throw a few gutter balls, this place is definitely worth a shot. read more

We planned a work outing to come here on Friday night. Someone called ahead and was told by a man who worked there that there would be bowling leagues until about 8:15, and then we could bowl. I arrived at 7:45 and asked the woman (not sure of her name) if we had a reservation. She pretty abruptly told me that "we don't make reservations on Friday nights because the bowling leagues are here" and she said they would be there until 8:45. I asked if we could leave our name on a list for when they were done and she told me "we don't MAKE reservations on Friday night, you'll just have to come back." Her tone was rude, but I kind of dismissed it because maybe she was stressed about it being busy. What I find unacceptable is how she treated the rest of the party when they arrived. She continued to be SO RUDE and rolled her eyes at us multiple times. She went to a group who arrived after us to bring them to the counter to check them in. We asked to get a lane, since we had been waiting longer and she told us no, that she was waiting for more lanes to clear. We pointed out that multiple lanes were open, she threw her hands in the air and said the would put us on them. She kept telling us how difficult it would be to take care of us. "UGH actually it WILL be hard to put them on your lane, I have to do an OVERRIDE and everything." Literally the worst customer experience I have ever had. I could understand if we had come in and were rude to her that maybe she would be upset, but we were not. We work in customer service, and this was a work outing so we were professional. But honestly, even if we had rubbed her the wrong way, it's her JOB to be polite to customers. I tell my employees that all the time. She represented Deluna Lanes when she rolled her eyes at us and threw her hands in the air. Not to mention how she started arguing with my party saying "No you DIDNT say that, and they are SUPPOSED TO TELL ME they are with your party." She then proceeded to badger a few of my employees because they forgot to say they were with us. Literally just forgot to say it. It's my daughter's 15th birthday and she wanted a few friends to take bowling. We decided to go to Deluna Lanes in Pensacola. Half of there lanes weren't working, snack bar closed due to a Memorial Services...yep that's what I said???? Came here for my birthday with my family and friends. When we came here there were a few other families and music playing, it seemed like it would be a good time. Well that was WRONG!!!!! At about 8:30 they turned the music off and closed the bar. My friend ordered food as soon as she got it they close the kitchen! The staff kept staring at us while we bowler mind you the place closes at 11:30 according to the website. I only gave this place a 5 star just to get my comment on here. Thank you deluna lanes for ruining my birthday as well as my sons first time for bowling. The staff is rude as fuck, they told our other lane that they couldn't have bumpers since there was no children bowling on that lane. Cosmic bowling is advertised EVERY Saturday and Sunday. I called to confirm and was told the same. The cashier told me they wouldn't be doing it that night because it wasn't busy but it was the busiest I've seen it and also informed me that they hardly ever choose to do it. Super clean place, lanes are nicely kept. No music on the Sunday we went, on others days, music is nice and low. Basic bowling prices, Pool room needs some sprucing up and I'm betting they're gonna get around to that area as they did to the others. Our only place to bowl and play pool from now on. read more
