Ice cream is decent.. At one time they claimed it was home made, doesn't seem like that anymore. The employees are not very welcoming in my experience. The reason I lowered the stars is because the dining room is FILTHY! Every air vent has caked on dust that looks like it's never been cleaned or atleast not in years. The men's room is in disrepair with the sink looking like it's about to fall off the wall. The dining room walls are dirty and damaged. It looks like this place NEVER gets cleaned which makes me wonder about the kitchen etc. The place is also pretty high priced imo but that could be chalked up to other factors. Ice cream quality is adequate . I got cookie dough it tasted really synthetic/fake cookie dough. The vanilla it was mixed in barely tasted much like anything. Ice cream is always great, I've always had pretty good customer service here too. But the only kicker is that they don't wear gloves. I mean they use a scoop yea, but as someone who used to work at an ice cream store it DOES get on your hand and sometimes you do touch the ice cream on accident. They should seriously get gloves. And it would have been okay but the hour and a half i was there I hadn't seen any of the girls wash their hands once. So idk it's good but a bit unsanitary. read more

I've been here a bunch of times with family. It is nice having good ice cream so close to home! Everytime my cousin comes down to visit he wants to come here for ice cream. This is one of my favorite spots too, the hard ice cream is so good. All the ice cream we got was amazing and the portions here are huge! The place is a bit small and gets full quick as this is a popular ice cream spot. I've never waited in the drive thru line only gone inside. Sometimes there is a longer wait but I'm willing to wait for the homemade ice cream! I've never had a problem with the staff here, they have always been friendly to me. On our way home from St. Augustine, we took a little detour through Deltona so I could see my boyfriend's old house and some of the spots he went to while he lived there. This was one of the ice cream places he used to frequent. It's small shop, but seems to be popular with the locals since there was a bit of a line even on a chilly day. They have soft serve ice cream with mix in options, hard serve flavors, sundaes, and milkshakes. He chose a peanut butter shake and I chose a waffle cone with German chocolate ice cream. He enjoyed his peanut butter shake. The German chocolate ice cream was okay, but didn't taste as fresh. I'd asked for a small, and they gave me a huge serving in my cone so you will definitely get all of the ice cream you could ever want! Overall, it was an okay place. The building was old and there was kind of a stale smell in the air, so it's not a place I'd choose to stay in to eat my dessert. Long wait time waited in line almost an hour just for four cars to pass by was in line well before 10:00 pm the girls immediately shut the lights and ducked in the middle of the store at 9:57 pm . I enjoy getting my ice cream at this establishment. The girls are pleasant and they try their darndest to get the orders out as quickly and correct as possible. Now let's look at the inside. It hasn't been painted or updated in YEARS AND YEARS. The walls where people touch are filthy. The paint is missing and chipped all over. The outside is a so rundown and looks sad. The ice cream is good, I've been here before, but their service isn't so lovable. I pulled up 20 minutes before closing with only two people ahead of me in line. The first car took over 15 minutes for them to serve, and then the second car they took care of within 3. Then we pulled up, they put the closed sign on the window and walked away from the window.
