By far the WORSTE experience EVER! DO NOT use delta plumbing! We recently needed our Septic tank pumped. They send out a technician to do the "estimate".... Usually when you need your septic pumped, they send the guy out with the truck to pump it out and your done. Not with DP. The "estimator came to our house, and told us we have a 1,500 gallon tank so it was going to be like $280 something to pump it. Then said the sludge was absolutely terrible so there would be an additional $250 charge for an excess fee. Then went on to tell us all the problems wrong with our tank. Mind you, we have a cement tank with a cement down spout (or whatever terms they use). He said we would need to cut out all the cement and replace it with pvc, but toilet paper hardens on cement... My house was built in 84'.... I think if there was going to be a septic issue with how it was built, then issues would have been addressed a loooong time ago! Long story short, before the tech left he said we were looking at $3500.00 MINIMUM to have the work done. We told him that we could not do that and asked how much JUST to pump out the tank. So Long story short, the job ended up costing up $575 instead of the original $280 that we were quoted over the phone IF we had a 1500 gallon tank. The estimator informed us that when the guys came to pump the tank they would lift all 4 of our lids to pump everything out. He said it would be impossible to get everything with just 1 lid off... So the next day the guys come out to pump our tank. Left after the job was done with out informing me they were done and to come see the job they did before putting the lid back on. They never lifting any other lids like the previous guy told us they would. So all we know is they did a crappy job based on the info their "estimator" gave us. When I called to complain, they had the guy that pumped our tank call me back. He said there was no need to lift the other lids because the solids in our tank weren't that bad (TOTALLY OPPOSITE OF WHAT THE 1ST GUY SAID). Then I asked him what size our tank was. Come to find out it was only 1000 gallons, which is $100 difference in pricing (which is kind of a big deal). So technically we should have only paid the $180 for the tank to be pumped, and should not have been charged an excess fee of $250 according to the 2nd guy. These guys are not educated like they claim. Their customer service SUCKS! I called 3 days in a row to speak with the supervisor. Every time they took down my name and number and said he was in a meeting that they would give him my info to call me. Only when my husband called absolutely irate did he finally get on the phone. I had to take over the phone call to explain to Josh what had happened. He refunded us the $100 for the wrong estimate on the size of tank we had. Then told me that he would call me back about a refund on the excess charge because he needed to speak with the guy that pumped our tank... Needless to say, we had that last conversation over a week ago. He still has not returned my call. I will never recommend this company to any one! But let people know to steer clear! They are deceptive, untrustworthy, and terrible customer service. This was our first time ever needing our septic pumped, as this is the first house we have ever owned. My experience with Delta Plumbing was absolutely wonderful! I will definitely use them again when I need a plumber. We awakened recently to a sound in our walls that was like a loud horn. After researching, I was convinced that I had a problem with our water pressure being too high. Our pressure control valve was shot, so I purchased a new one and tried to put it on. Unfortunately, I could get off one nut, but not the other. I called a national plumbing company that rhymes with moto-scooter. The guy showed up on time, but the experience went down fast immediately. This plumber made several condescending, rude comments and told me he couldn't use my part because the grooves on the part had been changed. (Are you serious? Changed the grooves? Oh, brother.) It was the same model, produced by the same company, and it worked for everyone else who replaced their old valve with the new one. So obviously the plan was to charge me a ton for his choice of a valve. He also said the job was extremely difficult, and he'd have to replace my pipes. Cost? $800. He added this with a comment that I'd probably need to replace the water heater, too. I sent him on his way. But not before he added, "I didn't want to do this job anyway." Ha, ha, ha. This really happened. And I'm leaving out a lot! I called Delta Plumbing and was pleasantly greeted by Selena. I felt instinctively that this would be the right company. We set the appointment and a young man named General arrived on time. General assessed the job, and I was relieved that he didn't seem intimidated in the least by the job. I was pleasantly surprised when he showed me the estimate and I readily agreed. The charge was several hundreds of dollars less than "moto-scooter." General finished the job in a couple of hours. And a lot of that time was us waiting for the sealant to dry so we could test the job. General was the epitome of a competent and courteous professional who takes pride in his work and in customer service. He also had nothing but great things to say about his employer, which I found heartening. Unlike the other national plumbing company, Delta didn't try to make all of their money off of one customer. I'm sure they could've charged more, but what they didn't generate in revenue on this call will be made up for over the lifetime of our future plumbing partnership. Wesley Clark and his co-worker Dylan came today to pump our septic tank. They arrived right on time a were extremely courteous and careful to make sure I knew exactly what they were going to do and the cost involved. I received excellent customer service. I cannot say enough good things about them. Delta Plumbing is a top notch company all the way! The office personnel did their best to accomodate us especially Salina and Stephanie. I tried to wash a load of laundry, and ended up with the master bathroom flooded with sewage!!! The toilet overflowed and there was also sewage in the tub. We quickly turned off all the water and stopped the washing machine but it was too late. I called Delta and spoke with Salina and was later called by Jacob, the GM and was assured that they would do everything they could to remedy the situation. as it turns out they did nothing to fix the problem. Steven came out and was extremely nice, but he told me that there was a blockage in the line and it was Not covered by the warranty. He said anything inside the house was a separate job. After calling the company, he told me that it would be 400.00 for them to 'snake' the line and clear the blockage. I told the tech that we owned a 'snake' and I had watched my husband do it, so I would probably do it myself. my husband is out of town but he told me not to even try that. I did not think I should be charged so I declined their 'help'. I believed they should have done it for no additional charges since they were there the day before and I was charged 350.00 for jetting the line from the tank to the house. I may be wrong but I believed that meant clearing the lines. The total the previous day was 750.00 even tho' I originally thought it would only be around 250.00 to have the tank pumped out. They did ask me to flush the toilet nearest the tank before they left the previous day, and that toilet seemed fine. I have contacted Mitchell Bros. in Newnan and they are coming out. They were very sympathetic and not surprised by my bad experience with Delta. Turns out that Delta has a lot of bad reviews on the site and if I had checked, I would not have called them in the first place. I am retracting my recommendation for this company and hope this review saves someone else from a bad experience. read more

On May 6, 2015, Delta Plumbing / Septic Service came out to assess a problem with my septic tank and possibly my drain field. I had already had a different plumbing company come and look at it and they advised my drain field probably was not draining correctly and that it might have to be dug up and re-done. This would cost several thousand dollars and I decided to get a couple of other opinions. On Monday May 4, 2015, I called Delta Plumbing and explained the possible issue and what I had been told so far. Delta Plumbing had the utility companies come out and mark my property just in case they had to dig up my drain field, I had my septic tank pumped and serviced about 18 months ago and should not have been having a problem. On Wednesday May 6, 2015, Kevin and Dylan from Delta plumbing came out and began assessing the problem. Kevin got a copy of my septic diagram from Henry County Environmental Services and emailed it to me. Kevin advised the drain field was very dry and that the septic tank itself must not be draining out onto the drain field. Kevin told me up front that he thought there was no issue with my drain field, which could have been a big expensive problem to repair. Kevin further inspected my septic tank and determined that my drain line and filter were clogged. Kevin pulled the filter out and showed it to me. The filter was totally clogged up with a large amount of debris. The filter had been pushed up out of place apparently because it was clogged up. This caused the drain line to be blocked even more. This caused my septic tank to backup and not function properly. I also suspect the previous plumbing / septic company did not clean my filter when they serviced my tank about a year and half ago. cannot give less than a one!!!! Although, as far as I can tell, the plumbing work Delta has performed at my house is adequate (the plumbing works) I am very unhappy with the service and the cost. My first encounter was when the septic system backed up. While I was at work a service man stopped by and called to tell me the septic tank needed to be drained. Since it was an older system they needed to dig to the tank and put on a lid for easy access. Since I needed this taken care of ASAP and I am not a plumber or septic expert I agreed to what I though was a high price (@ $1800) to have the work done. I felt I was over charged but the timing, as with all things, was off and between the holidays and work there was not enough time to price multiple places (my fault I guess) A year and a half later the plumbing is backing up into the house again and due to slow responses from a couple of other places my husband called Delta again because the issue needed to be resolved. He was told they would come out for free since we had the septic serviced before. Once they arrived to look at the issue with a camera we were told the pipe from the tank to the house was drooping and needed to be repaired and for about $2500 they would bring in a trencher and repair the 10 foot line. We were finally able to reach other plumbers who all said they would do the repair for half the cost. When we contacted Josh, manager, at Delta we were told "running a business is expensive." He was very rude and repeatedly indicated we just did not understand how expensive it was to run a business (hmm my husband is self-employed) Well I guess to be the "educated plumber" means you have to over charge those that are not experts . They even offer a senior/military discount and I thought that'll be a better deal. I immediately schedule a service and when they arrived, they open up my tank and said: "Bad news! Too many solids. We only have 2 options (1) $1,1,47 regular and (2) $1,199 deluxe (both w/ the so called senior/military discount of 10 percent)." So, I chose option 1 which is $1,147.00. After the job was done, I signed the credit card charge electronically and they told me that I will be furnished a copy of the invoice through email. When I received the email, the crew's gone. After I saw the breakdown, I feel RIPPED OFF. The breakdown is as follows: Pumping - 184.00 Excessive solids - 545.00 Baffle tee replacement 454.25 Bio clean - 69.00 Less discount 125.02 Total 1,157.23 To install a PVC TEE, (which isn't necessary) takes less than 30 minutes and materials cost less than $50 - they charge $454.25. I called Delta because I had water surfacing in my yard around my field lines, and needed to find out what was happening. Todd Bodine was the technician who arrived at my house and completed the exploratory digging and trouble shooting. He found a broken distribution box, my field lines full of roots and the whole system pretty well saturated. Todd took the time to explain what all of this meant, and was able to give me an educated and honest answer as to what was needed to get my system back in working order. Mr. Bodine and Delta worked quickly to gather permits, work with the EPA, conduct soil tests, as well as work with the Engineers to understand exactly what type of system could be placed (and would be best) in my yard. I TRULY want to thank Todd and his crew for the work they've done. Every step of the way, I was involved and informed of the actions needed. Todd took the time to explain why things are needed, and how they worked - from start to finish. My job was very large and included a new aeration treatment unit, a new distribution box and 400' of new field lines, as well as switching over from the old system to the new. All in all, the job took a week. I am very pleased with the results and the new system. I would definitely recommend Todd and Delta to anyone who would benefit from their services due to their knowledge, professionalism and respect that they have for their customers. Early Sunday morning we started hearing a gurgling noise and thought "what is that?". Turns out our septic tank was full but I didn't know that, it's never happened to me before. So we looked for reviews and Delta Plumbing was one of the highest ratings we found. They do not charge some crazy off hours fee just because it is the weekend, that's awesome. When the plumber came out to see what the problem was (remember we didn't know) he diagnosed it in 5 minutes and told me that he couldn't fix it but would turn the call over to the septic team. I thought oh crap, this will take forever. Boy was I wrong, Westly and Anthony were at my house 45 minutes later and about 2.5 hours after that my septic was clean - problem solved! Westly was awesome, he explained everything up front including the cost which as it turns out is right on par with what all of the other companies charge. When they left you could barely tell they had ever been there, they covered the hole they dug so well, including putting the grass back on top and you could just see some of the dirt had been moved. You can't ask for a better experience, great job Westly and Anthony and the Delta Plumbing team. I will definitely use you guys again in the future. read more

DON'T USE THIS RIP OFF COMPANY! I called them to pump my septic tank after we had an issue. I was told on the phone that it would be $150.00 for 1,000 gal tank or $250.00 for 1,500 gal tank and a $45.00 disposal fee. I agreed to the charges as that is the going rate due to the fact they were not the 1st company I called. Once the guy's lifted off the lid that's when the price all the sudden jumped to OVER $1,300! I was shocked and asked why it had quadruple. The young man proceed to explain that is because tank is "over full and is a level 5". I then called the company to get a better understanding of the over charge. The lady who answered the phone asked if the guys didn't explain it to me properly. I then asked her again why the charges was quadruple due to the fact I was quoted something completely different. She then said she would have a manager call.  the manager did call he was of no help. He said that it's because my tank was over full and they can't give out real prices over the phone or nobody would use them. I have called other septic tank companies back they don't have  bait-and-switch pricing. I will be calling the Better Business Bureau and filing a complaint along with the governor's office for price gouging. read more

I had a major water line rupture under the slab of my foundation. I called three plumbers for a quote on the repairs. After reviewing all three I chose Delta Plumbers. Their quote was within the same cost projections as the other three but Steven J who assessed my situation took the time to reassure me that while this was a significant undertaking (re-plumbing my house) it would be done with moderate interruption, no shower or bathroom for four days. At this time I made the decision to replace a failing hot water heater in addition. I wanted a Rinnai tankless as that is rated the highest on consumer reports. WOW am I impressed! It is fantastic. Steven & Daniel with Taylor worked four days to complete my project, on time and within budget. They are simple the best plumbers I have ever worked with which includes, four remodels and two new home constructions. Their knowledge, work ethic and polite demeanor made my a project a pleasant surprise. I would certainly call Delta for any future plumbing need. I hope anyone needing a plumbing repair gets to experience their professionalism! They are great. read more

The quality is there, I applaud the crew that came to do my septic work because they did a great job and were very neat with it (Todd & Brian). All questions were answered and process explained thoroughly. The only problem is the prices are crazy, very crazy if I must say, it went from $188 to $1068 just to pump out my tank, I was charged for extra water, and thick liquid that sucked just as easy as the liquid in the bottom. Also had a line broken and to fix 3feet of pvc pipe, and oxidize the line was $3800 which I was told by multiple companies was ridiculous....According to the quality of the work I would refer these guys to someone in need, but when it comes to what and how they gonna charge I wouldn't refer them. I think this company needs to get the prices together cause it shouldn't be that big of a difference in price when you are quoted one thing on scheduling service. I feel that we were beat over the head because service was needed and they knew the job had to be done. But hey when you don't specialize in this field what can you do outside of have one hell of a tax write off... read more

Called to set up a maintenance pump for my septic tank - bought property almost 8 years ago and never had any septic work. Had no idea where the tank was or the condition it was in, was not having any back ups though. Stephanie at the office give me information to contact the county office for info. on location of septic tank - no info. available. Kevin B. And Dylan C. came out and eventually located the tank and did the needful. Very professional service and manner from these two guys. I was not too happy with the eventual cost of locating and pumping but considering that the tank was filled with sludge I guess it was a fair price and this was something that needed to be done. I believe it saved me money and was given the price up front before they started the work - I could have declined at any point in time but believe in preventing problems up front. Overall happy with the service and more-so the peace of mind that comes with knowing where my tank is located and avoiding future problems. Now I guess I just need to keep up with real "maintenance" over the recommended time period. read more

If you have a problem at Delta Plumbing, ask for Evelyn, the office manager at Delta Plumbing. She is relentless at solving problems. The company did really good work but we ran into an unexpected accidental problem that occurred in March 2021. I would call over and over and kept getting the same message, that someone would call me back soon. Well, no one called me back in almost two months. Once Evelyn got control of the situation it was solved within one week or less. I didn't have to call everyday. She called me instead and worked with me until the problem was solved. Honestly, I was tired of calling over and over so once the problem was fixed I had a wait a few days to regain my energy. I have it now and would like to say thank you very much to Evelyn. Not only did she work diligently to get the job done but agreed to work with the contractors of my choice. Now I'm just waiting to see what happens when it rains. Our drains started backing up and it had been a while since we got our septic tank cleaned (last time was 1-2 years ago) so we looked through our phone book and found Delta Plumbing. Todd B. came out to clean our septic tank yesterday and did an amazing job! He is so helpful beyond compare! He explained the pricing and everything to us, which was at a reasonable price, and explained what was needed to be done and how it would be done. He also recommended a print out we could find online regarding a guide for homeowners for septic tank systems so that we could read and learn more about how we could keep our tank clean. Also, he was so understanding and so so so helpful. His explanations are thorough and easy to understand and he was very interactive and caring. He wanted to help our family out as much as possible in any way he could. We are definitely calling them again next year, especially requesting for Todd!! Delta plumbing customer service is the standards by which all others are judge. The begin... I had a scheduling problem (the Technician was a no-show), but the Customer Service Rep Ashley was so attentive to my needs; she quickly apologized and immediately dispatched another technician. The second Technician arrived on time and was very professional and knowledgeable. I had another problem with the amount charged and I called the office the next morning and spoke to the Delta Plumbing Customer Service Manager about the scheduling conflict and services changes. The manager took my information for investigation and told me she would call me back the next day. To my surprise, she called me back in less than 3 hours, apologized for scheduling inconvenience and billing miscommunication and gave me a nice discount. Now that is what I call professional.
