Delta Sign Shop - Signmaking Near Me - Cerritos, California

I hired Delta Sign Shop May of 2023 to do my restaurant signage Appu's Turmeric Cafe in Long Beach, CA. Pete the proprietor got my information through the city and reached out. He was initially hired to do the outside store signage, inside restaurant signage, Freeway Pylon sign, corner of street signage and two misc signs. He quoted an all inclusive fee of approximately $7500.00, which I paid in full via check. This was inclusive of all permits. Pete completed the Outside restaurant sign, Inside restaurant sign, and the Freeway Pylon sign. He promised to finish the corner of street signs and the misc signs but never did. I needed one more sign on the side of the restaurant. For an additional $3600 (paid via check), the man just poof vanished after cashing the check. After repeated texts and telephone calls and requests to complete the job, the work is still unfinished. Pro's of Delta Sign Shop: The work completed was very nice. Con's of Delta Sign Shop: Pete the owner is a LIAR, CHEAT and is completely UNTRUSTWORTHY. His mother must be squirming somewhere for raising such a dishonest child. Even thieves have ethics. This man has none. People, DO NOT give this man any money until the job is complete. Pete has his standard set of lies. Those who have hired him will know the following. "The job will be completed next week, I had an emergency and had to go to Texas. He will even send you a screen shot of the road map to TEXAS. The boom truck guy did not show up. The printers screwed up. They mis spelled a word. I have to redo the pylon signs. This review is long overdue. To sum up, I am going to court to file a claim. In the meantime, I don't think I am alone in saying, please do not give away your hard earned money to this cheat, fraud and charlatan. read more

I just moved my business into a new space and needed a new sign! First guy (NOT Delta Sign Shop),made an appointment to meet me. I re-scheduled patients to make the meeting time work and this guy no-shows me. He calls an hour later to say he was in traffic. I took that as a sign to move on.... A few days later I was in a local floral shop, right across the street from my business and the owner mentioned Delta Sign Shop and spoke very highly of them! He wrote the name and number down of the business and I called Pete right away! Pete came out the next day and was already drafting up looks for the sign! He worked with the owner of the building and I, to create a brand new sign for the building since the old one was very gross and outdated! We had the sign installed today and I am so so so happy with it! It looks clean, fresh and very visible! We are so happy with it! Thank you Pete! I highly recommend this company! Even with Covid19, he was able to come through for another local small business! read more

This is overdue but feel obligated to review as people need to know. Most of his clients have had bad experiences don't review as they are worried for their warranty. Hence, this company merely has 29 reviews. Pete was very professional when we haven't deposited, but after the deposit, he acted very unprofessional. He was unreliable. Our sign was delayed for two months. That affected our marketing and grand opening. I'd go with another company. Just from your response alone, a savvy yelper would be able to tell you're rude and unprofessional. Please skip this company, seriously. He will give you a cheap quote, but so so not worth the headache dealing with Pete. read more

I received a call from Pete at the right moment when my original contractor was having difficulties getting the City permit. Delta Signs quickly prepared the documents and resubmitted them to the City. Pete is very knowledgeable about the documentation and he knows the ins and outs of the whole process. Although the City's approval took some time because the officers were busy, Pete installed the sign immediately after we got the City's greenlight. As an E-bike technician, I can tell that Pete knows his job by heart with a professional attitude towards safety standards. We have 2 E-bike stores and I am currently working with Pete on the second project. Highly recommended! read more

I've used delta sign shop for quite a few things. Banners, neon signs, and now they've installed a new building sign with led light to our building and I couldn't be more pleased. Pete did a wonderful job at keeping us updated and informed even when things got a bit delayed and he always made sure to guide us in the right direction as to abide by city code and future proof our sign. Thank again ! read more

This review is long overdue, Save yourself the disappointment. This company is full of lies. Never in my 8 year of business have I met a man that lies more than Pete the owner of this company. It's been nearly 1 year and this company has not finished the job on my property. Pay the extra amount somewhere else and save yourself the headache of chasing an amateur for him to do his job. To make matters worse he had me and my family waiting on 2 separate occasions up until 1AM because he only had that time to work and never even got to my store after continuously texting I am on my way. They are insanely lucky I am too busy to file a lawsuit for breech of contract. Karma will find you Pete and I guarantee that. You took advantage of the wrong small business. read more

Oh man. Where do I even start with this place. Pete called me a few months ago asking if he can come fix all that was wrong with our sign because he "takes his customers inputs seriously". I was so upset with him, but I agreed to have him come and fix it because the sign was quite expensive. Again, he never showed. Do not do business with this company. By the way our sign looks like this after only 2 years. You have been warned. read more

Delta Sign Shop - Sign has oxidized already. Looks horrendous! - Signmaking Near Me - Cerritos, California

UPDATE........ So Delta signs FINALLY came through with the sign and I must say it was by far PERFECT...... Pete does great work once he is on the job and he did it by hisself, he was at our store extra early to get the sign done he was waiting on us to open to finish last parts of installations. In my opinion it took him very minimal time to get it done and he was extra apologetic about how he drop the ball with the lack of customer service we received from the start (due to lack of help within his business) . I wouldn't be 100% honest if I rated this business with an updated 5 stars so in all honesty I will update with 4 stars. Due to him offering my partner and I extra for the miscommunication, poor customer service, and long wait time in previous. He will in fact (pending our new request- he offered) give extrassssss to his customers if he BELIEVES he has in fact drop the ball on your project!!! Besides all the BS our business had to dealt with in the beginning PETE turnt out to be a stand up business man who run his business SOLO who may need a bit more help and may need to hire a few good workers to execute his vision and mission for DELTA SIGNS. Thank you Pete the sign looks good (hope we don't have issues in future) and continue to strive to be the best LONG BEACH SIGN MAKER POSSIBLE..... Our sign is EVERYTHING we asked for!!! PERIOD-T!! ! Pete I was even able to make it to the watch my daughters first pre season game with her new found sport, because you came early.... THANK YOU, THANK YOU her number one fan (MOM) even though they lost and she cried!!! I was there Thank you again, The Owners of BUNDLE VISION LONG BEACH JESS AND MEK!! read more

I had a terrific experience dealing with Delta Sign Shop for our storefront sign. Pete's expertise helped to make our vision a reality. He was able to answer any questions I had and even mocked up a render so I can see what the sign would look like with different colors and fonts. The best part is they also beat all of the other competitor's pricing. When it came time to install the sign, Pete removed our old sign and installed the new one all in a matter of a couple of hours. We'll definitely be going back to Delta Sign Shop for any future signage or printing needs. read more

This place is a joke. Great interaction when you first go and inquire about a sign but after you pay, get ready for the excuses. He'll threaten you if you try to spread the word about his shady business. Try a different sign place and stay away from this one. read more

I hired Pete to put up signs for my business. At first, he was great and timely to get the measurements, colors, and details for the sign. We set up a date and time for Pete to come in and put up the signs, but he did not show up. I continuously called him and left messages for the next couple of months, with no answer or reply from him. A couple months AFTER our arranged date to put up the signs, Pete called me and said he will come in soon to put up the signs. When he came in, the signs were not the same measurements(they were A LOT smaller than we agreed to). I told him to make new signs up to our arranged measurements, but he said he will not do that. Then, I told him to return my deposit, and he denied. After all the headache, I told him to at least give me a discount on the smaller signs, but he denied again. I would not hire or recommend Delta Sign Shop at all. read more

This is my second time ordering from Cecilia for my niece, nephews promotion and graduation yard sign. Delta Signs is fantastic! They reached out to me within 20 minutes of my initial call. They are professional, easy to talk to and where I lacked in knowledge they were swift with their expertise. They even came to the job site to take measurements and sent a photo render all in the same day. Also they wanted to make sure that they got it right and even continued to send updates and ask for all approvals, both big and small. I will 100% recommend them to anyone who is looking for a quality sign for a very fair price! read more

Love the sign! Many have commented on how nice it looks in our yard! Great turn around time, I'm glad I used this local business.

Highly recommend Pete to do your sign. He did a great job on the sign. On the day of installation he ran into a few hiccups but nothing stopped him from completing a job well done. That night I return to look at how the sign turned out with the lights on. I find the the light was turning on and off by itself, so I messaged Pete at around 9:30 pm to let him know what's going on with the sign, he replied right away and came within minutes. He fixed the light and the sign works perfect as it should be. Great customer service! Keep up the great work Pete! read more

Sometimes, products seem to fail and sometimes they exceed a customer's expectations! Unfortunately, my first sign started falling apart, but this was not Delta Sign's fault. It was explained to me, by Pete, that the material provided to his company has had numerous complaints. After getting a hold of Pete, he acknowledged the issues and then told me that this will be covered under warranty. I would say this was perfect timing actually because my gym, Barbarian Athletics, was adding a new CrossFit affiliation to the fitness center called CrossFit SBLB (check pics soon). Because of the faulty sign, Pete offered a little discount on our new sign and he also covered the old sign under warranty. I have yet to fulfill that item as the CrossFit SBLB sign just went up earlier this week, but looking forward to that as well! Anyways... let's talk about how fresh the new sign looks! It was definitely a process, but Pete persevered and delivered! He promised quality and he promised an awesome sign! BOOOOOOM... got it! You can see the sign a mile away!!!! Nice and bright! So simple and Smooth! There's a few time adjustments that we need to fix for when it should remain on and off, but it's all in the process! Please check out Pete's work, and I definitely have to commend his attention to customer service. I saw some of the other reviews here and I totally agree on communication. Definitely let Pete know how you want the sign to be and don't spare any details! He'll deliver!!!! read more

When we first leased our space, there were sooooo many things to handle. I found that Delta Sign Co had already been to our space and mocked up a design for us. I did call several other sign companies to get other estimates, but none of them were very helpful (most won't even draw something for you without charging) and were almost 3 times the expense! Pete is very prompt, professional and has many ideas for promoting business! We are very happy with all of our signage and look forward to working with them for future needs! Banners, stickers, etc....they do it all!! read more

Pete did such an outstanding job on our Pilates X exterior sign, windows and interior logo! His price beat his competitors by almost half and the workmanship didn't suffer whatsoever! He works late and hard to meet deadlines! Our deadline was a week prior to us finding Pete and he worked at 1:00 am helping us meet our deadline. He made sure to explain the difference between the products so we could make the correct choice for our business. We wouldn't have been able to do it without Pete! read more

Pete is the best and he knows what he is doing, best of all is the price, I called a couple of places, but no one can give me better price and longer warranty than him. I have my sign up for over a month now and no issue at all. I am definitely prefer my family to him. read more
