The instructors were great and provided us with a depth of knowledge. We also had to take firearm proficiency test by shooting at the target from 3 different distances. They have a wide selection of lanes available and there is plenty of parking. They have shooting range setup for 25, 50, or 100 yards distance. They actually charge per gun rather than hourly or the like. Its $10.00 per gun and you have unlimited time to bang bang. One can purchase ammo also but its best to bring your own as you can buy in bulk from online retailers for a very economical price. Also there are targets available to purchase at like $1.00 each. Overall it is a nice facility. The workers are very helpful and will guide you step by step. Safety is their priority.

We came out to celebrate the first day of my birthday month and the last time I was here the same grumpy old man gave me a hard time about my glasses, FYI I am wearing the same one. Today he not only gave me a hard time about my hearing protection he started giving me a hard time about my "language". The snowflakes have officially landed in the ranges of my great state of Texas.

Before I begin let me start off by saying that this review is based solely upon my personal…read moreexperiences and my personal experiences alone, so with that being said let's go!!.. My brother in law is a collector of guns, he calls it his hobby. So while I was visiting he asked if I wanted to go shooting at the range and of course I am a lover of guns as well ( but not to the extent of him ). But I haven't been to the gun range in quite some time so it was great to blow off some weapons. The gun laws in the state of Texas are a lot different then than the ones in Virginia and the licenses are as well. For instance his permits are valid in a lot more states than mine. Texas concealed weapons permit is honored by most states other than NY and NJ. ( I am from NYC, born and raised there and I know how strict the hun laws are there) and a couple of others where my concealed carry wis not valid in quite a few states..But enough of that because I could go on and on about the difference in gun laws between Texas are Virginia. Let's get back to this review!. My brother in law and I pulled up in the parking lot and walked in. There was a large selection of guns and ammunition to purchase to the right and also the line to wait for the gun range. To the left of the store when you walk in was a vending machine and the restrooms. The restroom was clean. My brother in law mentioned that this location was newly built and it showed. We stood in line, I had to fill out a waiver because it was my first time here. When we got to the register I just had to show my identification. My brother in law had his own weapons and gun chart papers so we didn't have to purchase theirs. We waited until they called his name and which stall was ready to use for practice!. I believe you pay by the hour, we were able and had enough time to use all the ammunition and new magazines he brought to try out at the range. I would definitely recommend this place for your gun purchasing and shooting range needs!.

My wife set up a birthday gift of epic proportions. Flew my buddy in (who I had not seen in 20…read moreyrs) to celebrate. She had it all arranged for us to meet up with Eric, who, according to her, was gonna teach us to shoot like John Wick. When we first sat down with Eric at the range, we discussed expectations. I let him know that while I didn't necessarily have such Hollywood aspirations, I DID want to learn how to handle my firearm with more confidence and effectiveness. He assured me that by the end of the day, I would see leaps and bounds in my proficiency. So we settled in and started working through some drills so he could get a feel for our ability level. As he evaluated, he scaled up the intensity each time he noticed us feeling comfortable. He consistently challenged us at our individual level. Along the way he would make slight adjustments to stance, grip, and trigger technique that yielded immediate improvement. Now, while I'm not ready to take on a hotel full of assassins just yet, I will tell you I gained the abillity to RUN MY GUN. Expectations exceeded. I can't wait to go shoot with Eric again, hopefully I don't have to wait until my next birthday!
