This has been such a struggled and waste of time that I can't imagine how bad they would screw up paying for much more involved procedures. I told my wife that if I get a heart attack to drive me to Junction to avoid this hospital. If I die on the way it would be better than dealing with Colorado Canyons! We'll never voluntarily go there.

It's like a siren all the time. Restorative sleep is needed after surgery. You won't get it here. Wonderful staff and they all know about the problem. Everyone complains and can't sleep. You'll have a severe ambulatory medical event in the wilderness that requires you to be ambulanced in, then you'll sit in the waiting room in a wheelchair unable to move for four hours, then by the time somebody sees you, all of your symptoms will be gone. Then they will decide that the best treatment for you is to do a drug test to make sure you aren't on drugs. Well, they figured out. I wasn't on drugs and I am not a drug user, but unfortunately they didn't figure out what was wrong with me because they let the symptoms go away. I could probably give you a lot more horror stories. Basically go to community or family health West. I only ended up here because the EMTs believed that I was having a neurological issue and no one else has neurology. Well I'll never know if it was neurological because all I got was a drug test.

When I first walked in they had a desk and team that took my temp and asked a few health questions. I was good to go so they gave me a wristband so I could proceed to my appointment for proper check-in. Once I got there, they had a lovely volunteer who personally logged my info into their computer for personal and public safety. Got lucky, they weren't too busy so I got in and out of my appointment within about 45 minutes. Overall, it's comforting to know that you have an award-winning Hospital in town.

The facility is clean and the staff are all very friendly. Highly professional and caring- they immediately checked my blood oxygen levels upon entry due to my complaint and my red face. I was taken care of promptly and everything was explained thoroughly. I ended up needing some treatment for a severe allergy flare up and the provider explained the options rather than just choosing treatment for me. I ended up getting a shot and it was oddly the best shot of my life. She took a really long time putting the medicine into my muscle and I literally didn't feel a thing. It was nice having them take the time and care and I didn't feel like anyone was in a rush. Glad I stopped by and feeling better already.
