The Customer service experience was outstanding and better than most other charters that I have been on. Captain Cook was attentive to the needs of the anglers and worked hard to keep the group on the fish. Boat was clean and well maintained, equipment was first-rate and fully functional. Overall A++ experience. I hope to go fishing on the Fish Wrestler in the future. Highly recommended fishing charter.

He was so friendly, went through a bunch of options that we had and just chatted about the area. My dog doesn't get along with strangers so I was shocked when he didn't have any issues with James. James was patient with him and my dog ended up trying to shake his hand unprompted (which is so rare for him!). My dog was hesitant to get in the water and was nervous but James got into the water to play with him! It was so sweet and you can tell James loves Discovery Bay, what he does and it's just so great being around positive people. If you're looking for a captained cruise, look no further!

After a minor boat crash, my family and I wound up at this marina as our boat was essentially sinking. When we arrived, scared, frantic, and anxious, the folks here jumped to our aid. They helped us for the next few hours- keeping our boat above water, working with us to get the boat on the trailer, etc. On top of that, the women brought us inside and shared food, drinks and beautiful live music :) The character of the new owners here is INCOMPARABLE to any other staff I've met on the Delta. My company charters a couple fishing boats each year and takes 40-50 employees out for a day of rock cod fishing. This was the first year we went with Golden Eye and we will definitely be calling them again next year. The Golden Eye 2000 is a beautiful vessel with a lot of room. Being a catamaran, it glides through the waves like a mermaid and you don't get a lot of the rocking motion like with regular boats. Not that I get sea sick or anything, but some of the weenies in my company do. Quang had a few choice spots he took us to that proved very good fishing. After several days of no response, I decided to go down to the office in person. To my surprise, I arrived during what should have been open office hours and saw the manager leaving with a man who seemed to also work at this Marina. They were gone for hours, and the office remained closed the entire time. I was told by a nice gentleman at the Marina that this is a normal occurrence for the two of them. This isn't just about poor communication--it's about accountability and professionalism. If you're managing a marina, customers and boat owners need to be able to rely on you being present, responsive, and focused on the job. Sadly, that hasn't been my experience here. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because this level of service is unacceptable, especially when people are entrusting you with their boats and time.
