My appointment was right on time and my dental hygienist, Marnie, was an absolute darling. She did an awesome job not only cleaning my teeth but keeping me engaged in the conversation that I didn't even realize we had finished. I made another appointment with Marnie for deep cleaning. I also made appointments with Dr. Michael Rodriguez and that also went smoothly. He was very thorough in his explanation of treatment and very light handed when working in my hand. I didn't even feel the needle to get numb. The dynamic between him and his assistant was seamless - they work great together. I just moved to a new area and came across this dr on my list of participating dentist and I must admit I was a bit skeptical because he looks so young, but I was met with professionalism, courtesy, and knowledge. The dental work itself was fine. Dr. Tremaine is good at what she does. Marnie, the hygienist is the reason I have been a patient, as she is great! My frustration is with the administrative side of things. It has been terrible since Amy left last year. The new people have provided me wrong copayment information, have not done what they said they would do and told me my refund was being mailed, when it has not been. Xavia is not easy to deal with, has a condescending attitude with patients and actually had the audacity to tell me that "that is why he is the owner", when 3 weeks ago I indicated it is not fair for patients to be made to wait for responses regarding over payments because the owner/dentist only works one day a week. Not an appropriate response, in my opinion. Given I have had to chase refunds from this office twice now, I will not be paying for services upfront. Will wait for EOB to do so; and if not able to, then I guess I will be looking for a new dentist. I have left messages asking for either the owner or my treating dentist to call me, and nothing. I guess they are not interested in knowing what their patients are going through. This has really left a bad taste in my mouth. Would have never happened with Amy. Good employees are truly hard to find.

I pleaded with them to try and squeeze me in, sin I was already at Boynton Beach Blvd and Hagen Ranch. NO, they couldn't do that. They claimed that they had no one else. So I'm late or a no show, they charge me, but I wasted my time, gas and energy with absolutely no consideration in their part. They will recommend procedures and then tell you that your insurance doesn't cover those services (which is untrue) When I visited this office for the first time 4 months ago I was very unhappy with my experience. I was told that my insurance did not cover 2 services that were recommended by the hygienist and when I questioned it because I was pretty positive they were covered I was told by the front desk staff that "insurance never covers these procedures". I declined the recommended services because I had a gut feeling I was being told wrong information. When I got home I reviewed my insurance policy to confirm those services were covered 100% I called later that day and spoke to Josline (the office manager) I was told that she would look into it and get back to me. She called me back shortly after and apologized and said her staff has certain protocols which were not followed and she takes full responsibility and continued to apologize. I said it was my first time as patient there and I was very disappointed.Josline then said (on our phone call) please come back and you can get your 2 services and as an apology I will not bill the 2nd service (fluoride treatment ) to your insurance and it will be free of charge. I was hesitant to come back but Josline sent me a quick text message the next morning again apologizing and saying she's very sorry and please let her know when I'm ready to schedule to come back. I thought the apology was genuine and the kind gesture to comp the fluoride treatment so I decided I would give this office another chance. I explained that my schedule did not allow for an immediate appointment but next time I come in I will gladly take you up on your offer. Yesterday I was back for my 2nd appointment (a cleaning) and the hygienist recommended a fluoride treatment and then proceeded to tell me it wasn't covered under my insurance. After I pushed back (thinking to myself here we go again )it was looked into further and surprisingly it was then covered. When I checked out at the front desk and spoke to Josline about her saying she wouldn't bill it to my insurance ( I have an allowed amount each year for covered services and I didn't want it to go towards that) she had printed out a text message that she sent me the day after my last appointment 4 months ago as a follow up to her phone apology and because she didn't mention the free fluoride treatment in the follow up text she acted like she never said it and handed me the printed out text with her apology and just said it doesn't say it on the text so she wasn't going to honor it. I told her we spoke about it on the phone at length while she was asking me to come back and give them another chance but she was not interested in anything I had to say. I am disgusted by the behavior I received yesterday. We had a clear and concise conversation about how she planned to rectify the mistake via phone and because it wasnt on the short text message that she sent the day after our conversation she was not willing to honor it. Just to be clear you lost a new client and any potential referrals over $30 It is in no way for me about the small dollar amount but more about unethical billing and when I tried to give them a second chance they not only tried to bill me again for covered services but then doubled down on it by refusing to comp the service I was promised as they rudely handed me text messages which were about 1/4 of our communication about this matter. I don't know if you they were overwhelmed yesterday but the customer service I received was by far the worst I've received in all my years

I've described the problem, and she just does her dismissive giggle. I went elsewhere to start with a new dentist (and get a 2nd opinion on the other cabities)...nope, no cavities, not even little "shadows" like Staller said. Now I have to have the filling--that Staller did--removed and replaced which will be a nightmare. Additionally, Staller's exams are a joke: she puts zero effort into inspecting teeth, gums, and she doesn't do oral cancer checks.

I now found a real dentist that does everything you need in his office and today he took his time and fixed all my teeth and even fit a crown with no issue and 700 dollars cheaper then MR I HAVE NO TIME run to several offices for your care!!!
