The staff was really nice and accommodated my guests with dietary restrictions. We had a lot less guests than expected, so I don't think I hit my minimum. I asked for some bowls to go for my guests that hadn't arrived in the three hours that the staff was working hard. They whipped them up and brought them inside the house for me. It is located at the Gratiot Central Market across the bridge from Eastern Market. The stores at Gratiot Central remind me of the old Eastern Market of the 1980s. They sell fresh Amish chicken and turkey as well as cooked chicken at some of the lowest prices around. It is busy and sells fast, so there is always a new, fresh batch of chicken prepared. A whole cooked chicken is $11.00, and fried chicken wings are only $1.00 each.
