Renovations in a condo are tricky; there are lots of limitations to what you can do to the structure and building policies to follow. One Call took care of obtaining all the permits and working with the building manager to make sure all of our modifications were by the book; saving us a lot of headaches in the future. My favorite part is the custom built bookcase replacing an old dated iron railing. It looks like a completely different unit, changing our outdated unit into a contemporary home. As an added bonus they came in on time and on budget. We will definitely use them for our kitchen renovation next year!

My family does not recommend Blades HVAC. We have a geothermal system that had a slow leak at the…read morecirculation pump. On the pump housing, Blades put a service sticker with their phone number, approximately three inches from where the leak was happening. I thought great, I will call them and they will take care of it. When the service technician came out, he took a look at where the leak was and said that they do not service geothermal loop pumps, and charged me $125 to come say that; he was not even here ten minutes. I told him that I felt that I was being ripped off because I had described where the leak was, and they still sent someone to tell me they don't work on that part. The tech said I could take that up with the office. I called the office to describe that I would leave a critical review because of my experiences with them, and give them a chance to make it right. The guy in the office literally laughed at me and said something to the effect that just because a sticker was on the part doesn't mean they service that exact part. Their four-hour service windows without updates make it difficult to plan when they may be able to come out. Had to reschedule a prior service call because the technician did not come out until about 12:15 when they had given me a window from 8-12. I do not recommend using Blades HVAC. Representative came, did a thorough examination of the issue, gave us lots of information, was very pleasant. He'd send estimate that night or the next day. STILL have not received anything from. I followed up with at least 2 texts- wweren't you going to send us numbers? where are the numbers? We'll have to go with someone else if we don't hear from you. NOTHING. We went with someone else. That was about a month ago. TODAY I receive a call from them wanting to follow up on the estimate they's sent me (that I never received). Well maybe it's in your spam. It wasn't. Needless to say, I told them we were going with someone else. Very frustrated, because the guy who came and spoke to us was extremely nice and knowledgeable.
