Jenny the owner of Senior Helpers and her amazing team of caregivers recently saved my day at a time of need -- so I know they can save yours! After interviewing several home health care agencies that serve my area I chose Senior Helpers to assist me with needed services post-surgery. Jenny and all of her caregivers were astonishing: utterly professional, consistently dependable and, perhaps most importantly, sincerely caring and compassionate toward their clients and about their work. And, Senior Helpers is very reasonably priced. I am deeply grateful for the assistance of Senior Helpers at a critical time of need. I will continue to use them in the future to help with tasks made difficult due to aging and physical disability. You have a great team, and run an excellent business, Jenny. Thanks so much!!!

After a stay in a skilled nursing facility, he still needed daily monitoring and support--but ongoing skilled nursing care was simply out of reach financially. That's when I found Home Helpers Home Care of Concord, and I can honestly say they were exactly what we needed. From the very first phone call, I felt completely at ease. I spoke directly with the owner, learned about their services, met the staff, and immediately sensed the professionalism and genuine compassion behind this company. What really blew me away was the level of personal attention. On the very first day of service, the owner showed up in person--and early--to introduce us to the caregiver and stay for a while to make sure everything went smoothly. That kind of warm, hands-on handoff is almost unheard of these days, and it made a huge difference for my godfather, who had always resisted outside help. The caregiver they matched us with was kind, patient, and incredibly attentive. My godfather felt comfortable right away, which honestly surprised me given his history of refusing care. Home Helpers provided a cost‑effective solution without sacrificing quality, and their leadership and staff consistently demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and heart. I'm truly grateful we found this company. If you're looking for trustworthy, affordable, and compassionate senior care, I highly recommend Home Helpers Home Care of Concord. They go above and beyond, and families like mine feel the difference

I expected good things from a company named 'Best Ever Home Care'. While we had to cycle through a…read morefew caregivers until they found a regular one for my mom, we had the chance of Julia being my moms caregiver for up to 2 weeks. Julia provided excellent caregiving services for my mother; taking her to the ice cream shop, and to a local man made lake to feed the ducks, she was always engaging with my mom. We then got our regular caregiver, who I thought was a pretty good math for my mom, she truly engaged with her and my mom liked her. Over the course of her week working with my mother, she divulged information that we did not need to her (her boyfriend was in jail). One day she came in, and about mid-shift, she said she needed to take a phone call and went into the bathroom for like 15 minutes talking on the phone and "cleaning" our bathroom. She came out and I asked if everything was ok, she said yes. About 1/2 hour later, sitting on my couch, her phone rang, and she asked if she could take the all, I said of course. She went out into my garage, and proceeded to yell at the top of her lungs in my garage. I went out to the garage, and asked her to tone it down, and that if she needed to leave, then she should do so, which she did. I was a little nervous with her coming in on her next day of work, but she came in, I just so happened to be upstairs showering my mother from a bathroom accident. My husband texted me and told me, the caregiver told him that she had lost her sense of taste and smell. I asked her to come upstairs and told her that she was going to have to call her company and that they will most likely ask her to go home. She called her company while on speaker phone and I heard Julia chastise her and ask her questions, instead of telling her to leave immediately. Julia wanted me to make the decision to send her home, and I told her it was her companies integrity on the line and that she needed to make the call, that I too felt she needed to leave. LONG STORY short, the caregiver tested positive for COVED-19, and we were forced on a mandatory quarantine for 14 days. This Christmas is most likely my moms last and I tried to make it as special as possible for her (she loves Christmas), and now it was all jacked up, and her other son could not come down on Christmas as planned. All 3 of us in the house went and got tested and thankfully came out negative. The hardest part of all of this is that Julie ghosted us. She was not responding to texts or calls, and then she felt like she couldn't answer questions I was asking and had to bring in other "managers" on her staff. We eventually scheduled a zoom meeting to discuss moving forward. With some troubleshooting, we finally met, but EVERY TIME I went to talk, I was interrupted, first by the scheduler Toni, then by the "risk manager" Karin. I ended up ending the Zoom since they would not hear me out or listen to me, and kept making excuses. I would be VERY wary of hiring this company to provide any caregiving services to your loved ones. Their employees to not wear their masks properly (above the nose) and that included the companies owner Julia!! The employees do not know the companies policies (mask wearing, not showing up to work when you have cold/flu symptoms), Julia kept telling me that all of their employees know their policies. Apparently not, otherwise I would not have to write this review. Hell, the company never even offered to get us groceries or send a gift card to get groceries. Never even checked on us to see how we were doing. Instead I received ZERO communication (I even had to call to find out wat the test results were from the caregiver)... again GHOSTED. This is a BAD company that provided mediocre care for my mother at $31.00/hr. I expected more! Don't expect much from this company.

She visited three times, paying attention to every detail of how I moved through the house (bending improperly can undo the delicate surgery and mandate revision surgery). She made numerous helpful suggestions, so that I heal properly. She even suggested that we insert lifters under our couch, so my joint would heal at the optimal angle. Good eye! There was one time that they could not find a caregiver and did provide phone. I would say that the majority of the caregivers that they sent out were competent and my mom really liked them. The rest did not interact with my mom and just sat in the chair, saying nothing. One caregiver watched TV the entire night she stayed with my mom. I let the agency know and I asked them not to send those caregivers again. I was glad that we had access to caregivers but I think I may try to use another caregiver company if the need arises.

I hired them again in June but it took 3 tries for anyone to call me to get serviced reactivated. Staff had told me that Kaitlin would contact me - never did. To be honest, I was desperate and need home care services asap until I could get my mom into an Assisted Living facility. The first couple of caregivers were fine. I had lined up caregivers round the clock. There was one instance where my mom had to go to the ER for shortness of breath and was released later that afternoon. I called Comfort Keepers to make sure that a caregiver was coming later that evening. When the night caregiver did not show, I called and they told me that the caregiver was canceled because my mom went to the ER. No one let me know. I was livid and upset. They did find a caregiver short notice. Then one of the caregivers failed to change all of my mom's undergarments even though it was clear that she had an accident. So he basically left my mom in a wet pad and I had to change her. I honestly wonder if the caregivers have the proper training to help older adults who have various health issues. I would NOT recommend them to use for any of your loved ones. If your loved one needs round the clock care, I would recommend looking into respite care at Assisted Living facilities.
