My father was cremated and a Veteran whos remains were buried at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. Mr. Bass was my initial point of contact and was very caring and kind as he assisted with my pre-need arrangement plan for my Father, who was 94 years of age. While speaking to Mr. Bass, I realized that I too would have to cross this bridge so it was best to start my own pre-need. When the time came to use my Father's pre-need arrangement plan, shortly after acquiring it, my family was met with the kindest, most caring person we could have asked for: Kassi Quintanilla. She welcomed my family, on the day of his death, with patience and understanding of this tragic event although it we knew the time would arrive. Kassi, followed the procedures dotting all i's and crossing all t's. She worked with the cemetery to ensuring my Dad would have the honors he deserved and followed up almost daily to check on me and my needs. From the very beginning, I knew that the Lord had sent this angel (Kassi) to watch over me while I navigated this difficult process. Picking up my Dad's ashes was truly a tough task but the staff was there to support me. Most of my Family have been buried with the services of Meadowlawn over the course of many years. But I have never had the level of care during any of our processes as I have had with Kassi and I am so appreciative. Even after the services, Kassi followed up just to say she was thinking of me and my family and wanted to wish us well. Well done "Meadowlawn" for seeing in Kassi Quintanilla, a gift that will continue to give me sweet memories for a lifetime. Kassi, Mr. Bass and the young lady to escorted me to the car for my Dad's final ride with me, Thank you, from the bottom of my heart and may God keep you, Always

Employees are ready to help you park your car to attend the gravesite service. The cars are lined up in a way so as to make leaving easy for everyone. Not so much at other cemeteries, where you are pretty much left to your own devices. So a bright spot in an otherwise sad day. The cemetery is not a large one, but it is kept in a pretty condition. A very pleasant setting for my friend Ivory.

He was highly responsive and flexible with all of our requests and kept us updated throughout. I can't say enough about the quality of work he provided us. The ceremony was beautiful, and overall we felt like our loved one was honored considering the short amount of time that everything was completed. They took care of the slideshow that was shown during the service, they also took care of the playlist of songs, and they took care of the programs that were handed out. Norma was also helpful in making sure the food was stocked and displayed along with ensuring our guests needs were taken care of. The bathrooms were clean, the whole building seemed to be clean, and it didn't seem like that detail was overlooked which was highly appreciated after viewing other funeral homes. The lighting was good, and we felt like the staff was good overall as well. There was also a private family room attached to the main service room if anyone needed a break or wanted to use it for a kids room. This place was full service from what I could tell. The only part that I wasn't extremely satisfied with was towards the very end where it felt like we were a little rushed out. We did book for an extra hour to ensure this didn't happen, but things happen and we understand that part wasn't understood my some of the staff. I would recommend this place to anyone based on the services provided that we received.

I HIGHLY recommend Funeral Caring USA…read more We have used Funeral Caring's services twice. Both were for relatives in another state. We could not have asked for more professionalism and support during these trying times. My husband and I, afterwards, set up pre-need services for ourselves to ease the burden on our children when the time comes. We were able to sit down and plan out OUR wishes and needs, 12 plus years ahead of time (and counting), when emotions are not running high and time pressures are on... Another bonus, the price is covered with their pre-paid program, no matter how much time goes by. Other friends and family have also taken advantage of their pre-need services to reduce the stress on their loved ones on our recommendation. It does give you peace of mind.

We met with Richard at the Bandera location, and he was kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable. After notifying them of our mothers passing, we spoke with Nancy Powell, who was our funeral director. From the point of notification, every conversation with her was full of rudeness, a lack of empathy and compassion and lies. She takes no accountability for her actions and when I confronted her on some lies she told, it was just shrugs and an "Oh well", and crossed arms. She didn't even have the courtesy of showing up to our mom's funeral, not that I wanted her there. I've already made it very clear to Nancy that she is an unlikable person. I dont know how or why she interacts with the public when she makes it clear that she doesn't like people or her job. If she is assigned to your funeral, I would strongly recommend going to another company
