This is the spot to go. We came in for a quick stop to grab some ice cream on the way home. We also had to pick up some candy too because I mean, we were here, might as well! This place always feels like walking into Wonka's factory. There are so many different kinds of chocolate and candy that there is something for everyone on that front. Then the ice cream parlor is pure nostalgia and there are so many flavors offered. I got a milkshake and it was made perfectly, topped with whipped cream and a chocolate wafer. The staff here is always friendly and helpful. The vibes are so happy in here. I suggest this spot to everyone looking for some sweets.

They only make them on Sundays, but if it is a different day, stop by and enjoy their other selection of donuts, baked goods and candy. This time of year is the perfect time to visit, as right behind them Oakfield has a wonderful Christmas light up Wonderland, and across the street they have 100 decorated Christmas trees! If you can get past the bad service, I'd recommend the apple fritters, they were good. Also the chocolate frosting with white cream was good and worth the calories. Just don't call it "Angel cream" or the owner will remind you that "only Paula's calls it that."

This is a really great place! It's like a farmhouse in the middle of nowhere that sells all kinds of chocolates and sweets. It's large and friendly and there are some really great things in there. It must be really hard to come in here if you are the kind of person that likes sweets and sweet shops, and come out empty-handed. The owner was working that day and incredibly sweet. She had a lovely selection of tea (as one would expect at a tea house, but I'm cynical) and tea related gifts. If I lived closer, I would absolutely make a date for friends and I to come enjoy the tea house together!
