: Incredible Administrative Care, but Completely Let Down by the Providers:I have very mixed…read moreemotions about my visit here. On one hand, I want to give a massive shoutout to Kristen White. She was incredibly professional, genuinely listened to my requests, and took excellent care of me. In a moment when I was in extreme pain and feeling completely overwhelmed, Kristen made me feel like an actual human being. Her empathy and customer service were a solid 5/5 stars.Unfortunately, the medical care from the actual providers was deeply disappointing. I came in with an acute sports injury after hearing a physical "pop" in my foot, experiencing swelling on the top of my foot, and dealing with severe nerve pain. They took X-rays but didn't bother to sit down, look at them with me, or properly explain a clear diagnosis. Instead, they completely dismissed a severe structural injury as basic plantar fasciitis, handed me some topical gel, and sent me on my way.To make matters worse, they told me it was "normal to work under these conditions"--completely ignoring the fact that my daily job requires heavy pulling, pushing, and lifting of heavy objects. Because they refused to give me an immobilization boot or take the soft-tissue damage seriously, I have spent days favoring my left leg. I have now developed agonizing sciatica from straining my back just trying to hobble around.Kristen White deserves a promotion for her outstanding humanity and professionalism, but the medical providers seriously need to re-evaluate how they dismiss patients with acute traumatic injuries.

I believe he specializes in Geriatric Psychiatry and was able to correctly diagnose a family member who had been midiagnosed by a neurologist. What impressed me was also that he spent close to 2 hours with her at a very reasonable fee. Since bringing this family member to Dr. Kophn I have spoken with another former patient of his who also had good things to say about him. Strong practice Convenient bloodwork…read moreTechnologically savvy It's high time for an update, and I have both more and better things to say about Wayland Medical ~12 years in. Getting appointments with the practice has been notably smooth throughout my time with them; the staff is willing to work with you based on your needs and clinician availability. I've also enjoyed seeing a few of the other practice members (eg Benitez, Berg, Rodriguez), each of whom is thorough, knowledgeable, and helpful. The use of the Healow medical app as a portal, and their fully integrated connectivity to electronic medical record systems, has given me peace of mind that all my instances of care are suitably connected in one place. It's also convenient to be able to head downstairs for a quick and easy blood draw when required - and again, clear results are available in the app shortly thereafter. I've also noticed the patient set is younger than it used to be - not just geriatrics anymore. As important as anything above, Dr Ruggieri is friendly and engaged during visits, as the rest of the staff I've dealt with are also. I definitely have a "medical home" at Wayland Medical.

I see Dr Maude and my husband sees Dr Breiding - two of the nicest, most responsive and competent physicians as I have ever met. If one is actually ill, you get fit in to the schedule that very day! Sick on Saturday? On call MDs will tell you to come on over. Each MD has a nurse and a secretary. Ingrid and Robert are the nurses to our two doctors respectively. Each nurse could not be nicer. You are never kept waiting. Secretaries (mine is Linda) ALSO wonderful! These great folks make you feel comfortable and inspire confidence from the top down. Conveniently located on North Main Street near the Providence/Pawtucket line, there are parking lots on both sides of the building. I left a medical practice practically around the corner from my home in East Greenwich and choose to drive to North Main St to have these wonderful medical professionals take care of me! Five stars.

Dr. Behtash was recommended to me by my doctor at Memorial Hospital, Dr. Susanna Magee - who was my doctor for both of my pregnancies. I enjoyed Dr Magee's style, ease of emailing communication, and asked for her to recommend a local provider to be my regular physician. Dr. Behtash runs a micro office, which allows her to spend a ton more time with her patience -- you set up your appointments, and even email her through an app or online. This helps because she is the one who writes back to you - not a nurse! My first visit with her was about an hour. She took the time to truly understand me and my history, and has been incredibly kind at subsequent visits. She is young, knowledgable, warm, and welcoming - and I 100% recommend her to others! My husband just made the switch, and he said the quality of care was unlike anything he had ever experienced. And the best part - barely any waiting for my appointment!
