Muffins aren't to sweet perfect balance
    Jeanette F.

My father has been raving about this place so I stopped by to check it out. I was pleasantry surprised it was fresh pasta and meals and gelato on one side and sandwiches and coffee and pastries on the other. I couldn't do both so today's tour I did coffee sandwiches and pastries and Isaiah was the sweetest I let him pick the best of the best and boy he was on point. I got the Tacchino Toscano which I absolutely loved and for my husband the Sicilian Stack that he said was delicious a raspberry muffin was so perfect most muffins are way to sweet this was perfect. I also got a chocolate croissant it was very buttery not much chocolate but it tasted good. My iced coffee was amazing. Overall I'm going back I need to try the pastas and gelato next and Isaiah was just so nice.

What a great find! Authentic, fresh pasta made daily. Frozen and fresh meals prepared by a chef who knows their way around an Italian kitchen. Freshly baked bread. Jams, dry pastas, Italian cookies, it's like being transported to Brooklyn. Pop out one door and enter another where you will find a bakery serving fresh muffins, pastries, sandwiches and coffee. Everyone was quick to help and the owner even gets involved assuring you get what you are looking for. Upbeat, bright and welcoming.

    Hearty Bolognese Lasagna Oven 14oz
    Kimmy R.

This place is on my husbands way home from work and when it was mentioned on the local foodie page I thought why not try it for Valentine's Day rather than try and make reservations in a crowded restaurant and it was a hit! He was able to pick up individual heat and eat lasagnas and they were fresh and amazing. One of the best homemade lasagnas I've ever had! I had the chicken and mushroom and it was delicious and rich in flavor. The bolognese was a true classic! Highly recommend picking up lasagna for one! The price is super reasonable too! $25 for two perfect portions of it. I believe they have other heat and eat dishes here as well and we look forward to trying them in the future!

Della Casa Pasta pork loin meal.

I just had the pork loin meal from Della Casa Pasta and it was so delicious. It is much more tender and juicy than what you get at some restaurants in The Woodlands who are famous for pork chops, and at a less expensive price. The portions are big and filling, not to mention healthy. What I really like is the skin is slightly crunchy while the meat is very tender for pork, and the sauce gives a nice but not overpowering touch for the taste buds in your mouth. I recommend this!

We started our meal off with some fabulous cocktails but the waitress who said she was in training brought our drinks without using a tray and her fingers were all over my martini glass and my husband's drink near the rim where we were gonna drink out of! She was trying very hard to keep her hand steady and I thought for sure it might spill it. I wiped the glass off but still...Gross! That's what the stem is for! Straw please! Why was she not being monitored if she was still in training or at least properly trained? Do I fully blame her...no. Then she picked up our leftovers to box up and she piled up the dishes on the plate of food we were to take home! I almost lost it! Does she lack some common sense? Yes! Who piles dishes on top of my food when I'm supposed to eat it later? WTF? I was afraid to eat my leftovers after this debacle. Where did she get her food card? Having worked in hospitality for many years I gotta say train your wait staff properly and keep a shadow with them until they're fully trained to serve and then guess what? Some people are just not cut for white table cloth service. After spending over $150 here I was very disappointed. I hope they fix this mess. Our visit was unacceptable.

I've tried several and all barbecue spots are great but none are as good as Tejas. Tejas opened in 2015 and has received several awards since and in 2025 became recognized by MICHELIN. This did not surprise me and it made sense why none could ever top them. They have wonderful customer service, the feel is very cabin like, family style food, and clean inside and outside. I have stopped by several times over the years and haven't given them a proper review and it was about time. Their brisket is exceptional. What I immediately appreciated about Tejas is how they are unique with their sides. Sides are important. Most barbecue spots across the board have the same sides but each make them a bit different. Tejas offers a unique side, that no one has or any restaurant in general, their Carrot soufflé, it is addicting. I usually order another to go. Their chille relleno sausage is phenomenal. Went back about two weeks ago on a whim and I've already been back twice since. The BBQ is legitimately exceptional now. The burnt ends are amazing--tender, smoky, and packed with flavor. The cheesesteak is awesome, the turkey is surprisingly moist and tasty, and the overall quality is way higher than I remembered. A couple small notes: the poblano sausage was a bit too cheesy for my taste, and the mac and cheese has crushed tortilla chips on top that feel unnecessary (though the base is still solid). Must-orders: Get the chicharrones and queso and ask for a side of Tajín to sprinkle on top--it takes it to another level. The jalapeños at the condiment station are pure fire and delicious. They also have a full bar, so chilling with a cold beer and some top-notch BBQ is the move. The chocolate truffles at the counter are fantastic--you really can't go wrong with any of them. They also have specials if you order four or more items, which is a nice touch. Plenty of seating inside or outside, and there's ample parking right across the street. If you haven't been in a while (or ever), do yourself a favor and give them another shot. I'm glad I did. Solid 4 stars.
