I can't remember the last flavor, but I do recall the gentleman saying if I ordered six cupcakes there would be a discount. So, I know I grabbed 6. The prices were reasonable and I was happy with the pleasant experience. I left and ran to my car so I could try the chocolate ganache. Let's just say it was gone before I made it home. I paid for a nine inch pie online days in advance on my credit card out of blind trust so all I had to do is drive to Collingswood and pickup the pie and go. Should have been an easy transaction. I get there and the girl behind the counter seemed confused when I said I was there to pickup an order and I gave my name. She proceeded to look for my order and fumbled around with the six inch key lime pies in the display case seemingly knowing I ordered the key lime deciding whether or not to give that one to me and she did actually try and I said I paid $35 for a nine inch pie. She tried to convince me it was my order and the six inch pie is $35. At this point I'm feeling scammed. I proceeded to say that was not what I ordered online. She went back to talk to the bakers in the back several times and then I looked closer in the display case and could see a nine inch key lime pie in a cake box. When the girl came back with one of the bakers, I said here is a nine inch pie. I said that's probably mine and it was; at least I hope. Here's the problem. None of these preorders have a name attached to them. That's absolutely absurd. How do you keep track of what order belongs to who? I am a brand new customer. What happened leaves a bad impression on me in a world that seems to be a scammer's paradise these days and getting worse. I'm not a celiac customer, but I do have a gluten sensitivity related to my RA problem. I was trying to save time in preparation for a dinner party. I know how to make my own gluten free key lime pie. I wasn't desperate for this pie when I ordered and decided to give you a shot and could have chosen a different desert that takes less time to make on my own had I known this would happen. That's probably what I'll do next go around and make more time. Anyway. The pie was good as I mentioned. So thank you for that, but get better organized and make sure the girl behind the counter knows how much stuff costs. Have a price billboard up that she can quickly reference and start attaching names to the orders.
