Upon arrival, I was informed by staff that I could not bring my personal tumbler, which contained protein water. The policy prohibits outside beverages, including water, regardless of whether they are sold on-site. I have allergies to many of the items available at the venue and was hoping to enjoy my day while staying hydrated with my own clean water. I use a metal container specifically to avoid microplastics, fluoride, and unnecessary chemical exposure common in many bottled or plastic alternatives. The manager explained that outside tumblers are not permitted because other guests might do the same. However, I observed the manager himself carrying and using his own personal tumbler filled with a beverage brought from home (not purchased on-site). This created an unfortunate perception of inconsistency in policy enforcement. For health-conscious individuals, those with dietary restrictions or allergies, or anyone preferring to avoid plastic and chemical-laden beverages, this policy may present a challenge. It was Saturday night and the area was BUSY. I asked for a Monte Cristo without ham (cause red meat). Monte Cristos are one of my FAVORITE food items. The owner said she couldn't because of the pre-made situation. It was hard to hear, but she made sure it was ok for me to still have it and was sincere. This says a lot about her character -- which often shows up in other areas of business (ie, cleanliness, quality). I was able to pull the ham off easily because it was neatly assembled, which was GREAT! Made it so easy. Sandwich was fantastic, a flavor I remember. And consistent to a previous one I had years from before from Haute Wheels. Service was FAST, and made fresh! Just an overall stellar experience.
