Not only did I experience this behavior but also several of the Latinx vendors that were present that day at the event. They felt so unwelcome and experienced such rude and unprofessional behavior they expressed they would not vend at the MAC in the future. I have coordinated many events in various multicultural centers, art galleries and private venues and have never encountered the level of unprofessionalism that I encountered at this location. After the event, I messaged the executive director of the center to explain my experience and that of the vendors. My message was completely ignored, further convincing me they do not care about the experience of those who visit, attend and participate in events at the center.

Dropped in to do their glaze & go, $9 studio fee per person and you pay the price for the ceramic pieces. They have many cute options and clay designs to choose from! The instructions are pretty straight forward, you choose your piece, collect materials you will use to paint or add texture, pict your colors of choice, and then it'll get glazed. Process takes about 3 weeks, so if you come be prepared to leave your information and come back to pick up. Such a great activity to do. Can't wait to see the finished project!

I would totally bring him here often but the hours are a little problematic for us. His nap time usually starts anywhere from 11-12 and they don't open until 11 most days. He does much better in the mornings than in the afternoons in terms of mood and listening skills. I wish they could have at least one day a week where they opened at 9am for the little ones, but if not, then I guess we'll see if he's still into it after he drops his naps in the future.
