They have some unique flavors on hand that I haven't seen in store or other brick and mortars. I loved the selection they have on site here. Plus, the employees will happily sample whatever flavor you want to try! Huge store with lots of space to sit. Easy ordering process for either the deli or the ice cream. And seriously, some of the most friendly employees I've seen in a hot minute. For something quick and on the go, Lindsay's Boulder Deli gets my stamp of approval. And if you're lucky enough to run into Lindsay herself, you're sure in for a treat!

This is one of the best sandwich places Denver or Boulder, and this one blows away the Denver location. The guys that works there know what's up, They have far more choices than the Denver one and everything I have tried is great. Deli on Valmont is the best location by far. I have been there and heard other customers, local, customers talk about driving hours for their sandwichs. And it is GOOD food with deals. Every day all week on special sub's. I love their meat ball subs and the energy is So positive!!!! read more

I always go with the "Novice", it's perfectly short, and densely packed with lots of thinly sliced Italian meats, provolone, lettuce, tomato & onion. Their grinder-style oven ALWAYS gets the sandwich nice & hot. Yes, the bread can sometimes get a bit dry & crispy, but it often is a nice textural contrast to the juicy sandwich filling. Finally, two things that put it over the top: #1. a perfect mélange of oil & vinegar AND mayo. Yep, gotta have 'em all to make the magic just right! And #2. Their amazing proprietary blend of Hot giardiniera peppers. The best mix I've possibly ever had-- including NYC! One SIDE NOTE (and I'm being totally serious): Yes, if you order ALL THE TOPPINGS, you'll get mustard. So please, do me a favor, and DON'T get mustard on your Italian hero, Fuhgeddaboudit! Other favorite sandwiches that I have enjoyed at Snarfs locations in Boulder over the last 25+ years: the Meatball (extra parmesan), the Prime Rib & Provolone (mayo only), and the Turkey & Swiss (extra Swiss, of course). I ask to leave off the ham, mayo, mustard, and onion and I haven't had them mess up yet, which isn't the case for most sandwich shops, even with simple requests. Jersey Mikes is still my favorite place, but Firehouse is a close second for high quality, good taste, friendly service, a clean restaurant, and reasonable prices.
