My boy always orders a crepe covered in Nutella, because he just loves it, and this time I had a portions of Chilli Nachos, (which were delicious). The restaurant overlooks all the shoppers coming and going on the ground floor of Centre West and is good for a bit of people watching. I had a coke and was pouring it into the glass provided when i noticed some of that waterproof lipstick on the glass. As it wasn't my shade the waitress believed me and brought me a new glass. I was now 'down' half a can of coke. I felt compelled to ask for another can so that I didn't lose out on the deal. The girl brought me one and left me with the remaining contents of the first. Result! It's not expensive at all, probably because of all the other outlets all around it. I'd recommend it, even if it's just a cappucino that you're after.

Don't let that put you off, the food is really tasty. They have 3 different homemade pastas on each day and everything seems to be pretty much homemade. I had the bruschetta to start and tuna mayo pasta. Both were well cooked and very fresh tasting. Special mention goes to the Nutella crepe and cream. It is huge!! The crepe was delicious, with warm oozing Nutella. Special mention has to go to the cream...no idea how they made it but it is worth getting just for the cream!! Cut above all the rest of the places in the food court.

Still a fan after having eaten here almost a year ago. After a crazy workout, the boyfriend and I…read moredecided to clean up and head over to Gusto & Relish for a bit of breakfast to start off our anniversary morning with a bang. We looked at the menu at a few places around the area, but decided that Gusto & Relish was the winner. Trying not to negate the workout we had, I attempted to order something more on the healthy side. I'm not sure that worked since I ordered the french toast with maple syrup and last minute decided I wanted to try their veggie haggis. I could see the disappointment in my boyfriends heart, being a true lover of haggis, but I do quite like the veggie option when I can get it. He went for scrambled eggs, a fried egg, beans and toast and a coffee. When our food came out, I was a bit put off the way they piled the veggie haggis on top of my sweet french toast, but I ate it first and got on with it. I made my boyfriend try the veggie haggis, and much to my surprise, although he said he'd never actually order it, he didn't hate it. I quite enjoyed it and the massive amount they gave me actually filled me up before I even started on my french toast. The french toast was a massive portion. I'm not really sure what I was expecting, but the slices of toast were really thick and perfectly cooked. The wee pot of syrup that came along could have been a bit bigger, but that's just me being a greedy American wanting my french toast covered in syrup. I would have also loved some powdered sugar (icing sugar as they call it here) and it would have been the best. Needless to say, it was still really great and super filling. I ended up giving a piece to my boyfriend unable to finish the three pieces. The boyfriend quite liked his eggs, beans and toast, but didn't enjoy his coffee one bit. I even tried it- it was very acidic and bitter. I wouldn't have been able to drink it, but my boyfriend drank it like a champ. All in all, our breakfast was delicious and the service was great. While we were waiting for our food, we noticed they have a bunch of Scottish goods for sale, which was great to see. For any of you looking for Suki teas, (I've been on the hunt and have found they're only sold online) they sell a few here. Yay!

As a south sider of 6+ years I was totally kicking myself that I'd never been here til last week…read more I've always had the best intentions, but I just never made it. I was in for some food but just made a super quick decision when I saw the menu - Eggs Florentine with added spinach. What can I say, I'm a bit addicted to Eggs Benny and all its variations. This place is really nice inside - classier than your average cafe and pretty cosy. The breakfast tea was delicious and service was warm and friendly. I loved the presentation of the eggs - generous with a lovely rocket salad on the side and an added side which I think was a potato scone (I ate it too quickly to remember properly). The only reason I have to dock a star is that the muffins were burnt in parts which I know sometimes happen but my god I hate a burnt muffin. The rest of the dish was just lovely though and I really enjoyed it. Prices are reasonable for the area, and as I said, the staff are really friendly. They don't seem to have a huge deli section (as mentioned in some other reviews) but that wouldn't put me off going back for lunch or breakfast. Also, it looks like they don't have a customer toilet but if you ask the staff, they'll point you behind the counter and past the kitchen down the stairs.

I went with my second choice which was the pastrami, Emmental & gherkin which is served on foccacia. It was made fresh while I waited and everything was prepared for my order - the pastrami and Emmental sliced then and there, which was nice to see. It was all wrapped up in greaseproof paper and came to £4.50 which is a little more than I'd normally like to pay for a sandwich. That being said, it was lovely and everything was perfectly constructed and portioned. There is seating inside the deli as well, so you can get your sandwich (or pasta) to have in, which I think I'll try next time.

Bread, Ham, Cheese Please…read more.. So decided to go for a hurl* the other day and got a bit hungry, so stopped at Pane e Vino for a plate of soup and a piece. It's old school and every corner of this deli is an Italian grocery discovery. But for now it was immediate consumption we were after. There were two soups on offer, both veg brothy (£3.50) but being cold outside that was ok and there're plenty of sandwiches (£4.50-£5.50) to choose from, but no soup and sandwich deal :-/ There's a feel of community here and we happened to stumble upon the "largest panettone in Scotland" raffle. All good fun and I can see why the warmth of service draws regulars back for their Sunday morning cappuccino. Just be aware though, when you order a ham and cheese sandwich (and there are many varieties of ham and cheese here), that's exactly what you get - Bread, ham, cheese. No mayo, lettuce or tomato, but the coffee can moisten your palate. * hurl: a ride or drive in a vehicle (usually with wheels).
