Generally stick to the same 3 or 4 dishes but I am happy with that and they are all done to my tastes. Service is pretty box standard. If you go there often and get your face recognised you get a couple of free things with big orders but you have to be in that elite clan. Cannot fault the price either. It is also located next to a pub, and a bookies. So that's the football days sorted or post drinking session. I would recommend if you are in the area and looking for a takeaway. Up there with the best in Kirky.

Wanted to show my girls their heritage. First stop after landing in Glasgow, why Gino's of course. Delighted to find it is owned by the same family and the food was just delicious as I remembered. They were hot, I'll give them that, but apart from that, really rubbish. They were only £2.50 but if I wasn't really starving I wouldn't have eaten any of them. The shop itself looked clean enough and the guy behind the counter barely said a word to me, other than to tell me how much it was. I wasn't impressed. Packet of crisps next time I think.

They sell something which i have never come across, the pasta fritter, which is fried pizza dough shaped into triangles. I have it on good authority that these are amazing. I had a pizza from here once, and i have to say i didn't really like it. The base was too thin for me, and the sauce a bit too herby, almost on the perfumey side. My boyfriend loves them though, so maybe it's just my personal taste. The sign outside looks a bit like the local primary school have been allowed to make it at Arts and Crafts, but it all adds to the charm of the place...i suppose.

More often than not its either amazing or minging with no inbetween. Well I have found a chinese that is just ok. We had szechan chicken, fried rice and chips with prawn crackers. It's as close to a staple chinese order as we have other than perhaps the gool ol' chicken fried rice, chips and curry and prawn crackers. It was ok. The chips were fairly good, slightly chunkier than I'd expected - more of a chip than a fry and rather nice and crispy. The fried rice was average and the chicken dish was nice. Lots of peppers and onions swirling in with chicken and a rich reddish sauce. The menu was ok too with pretty much what you would expect from a chinese menu. There was also the usual meal for two, meal for three type deals on the back of the menu but to be honest we ordered in a rush though sheer hunger.
