The lady that cooks the food is extremely helpful and excellent as well. The chicken wings that we ordered were seasoned and cooked to perfection!!!!! The Bad: While the food is good, ordering is quite a challenge. This was our first time eating at this establishment as we were told how good the food really was. And it was excellent!!! However, when you ask an employee if there is a menu, they say, it's on the door. You look at the door and there is no menu. I the. Asked another person hat looked like she was the cook. This was great as she said the menu is actually on a piece of paper on the wall. Note: I still never found this menu. However, she (the cook) was very, very friendly and told me what she had ready to cook. We ordered Fried Chicken Wings and a side of French Fries for the two of us to share. The food was excellent!! )so this is not bad. The Ugly: The bartender either needs assistance in serving the customers in a timely manner or she can improve her speed and service. When we first sat down, we waited over 10 minutes for her to even acknowledge us. Not to serve....just acknowledge. Will we return? Absolutely!!!!! The Bad and the Ugly did not outweigh the the good. We had a feast time watching Karaoke, eating Fried Chicken & enjoying good drinks. This is a place that you do not need to get dressed nice to hang out, and there are often times that I just want to have on jeans and tee shirt to go out and just have a drink and have laughs with friends or with Hubby. This was the case in our recent visit and enjoyed ourselves immensely. We will certainly return and hope you visit this great establishment. Bon Appetit and Have Fun!!!!!

We had to park a couple blocks away, but the weather was nice and cool, so we didn't mind. There was no cover charge, despite a band playing. The band was called The Jimmies, and they played music from the 80s (A Flock Of Seagulls, Billy Idol, Springsteen, Prince, etc.). Although I didn't eat, I noticed they had food for sale (burgers, hot dogs, chicken, etc.). An extensive craft beer selection both on tap and in cans was also offered. I had the Dale's Pale Ale from Oskar Blues brewery and the Hazy-O from Dogfish Head brewery. Both were pretty good. The place was pretty big with lots of tables. In the center were people playing corn hole. There was a sand area for kids to play (beach theme?). Once the sun went down, lights hanging from rope above us were turned on, creating a nice ambiance. For a city that doesn't have much (this came from people who live there, not me), this was a nice way to spend a Saturday night.

About 10 minutes south of new castle and away from the chaos of rt's 1, 13 and 95. I love that this is a getaway type of place, I almost avoided a review for fear of Kelly's getting more popular and ruining its vibe. Have to say- Really antiquated tip/debit process. Cash tips only and fees added to credit/debit payments. Think of how often your staff misses out on a tip because of this. Times have changed, offering card payment options is the new norm and seeing places like Kelly's choose to make it harder for their customers to pay is just unfortunate. Lost a star due to this
