Bought a used car from Delano Chevrolet. The hood was misaligned do to prior damage (I did not notice that the hood was misaligned when I bought it) When I brought back to them to correct the problem, I was told there was nothing they could do because that's the way bought I it. (they were very nice about it) but unfortunately I will have to pay for the repairs out of my pocket. :( (wish i read the reviews before I spent $26,000.00 !!) read more

Husband had his pickup serviced here today. He said that everyone was friendly and professional. They went above and beyond, and even rotated his tires at no charge. Excellent customer service! We've had service done to his pickup in Bakersfield before, but have never received this level of service. Plus the wait time was much shorter too. We'll definitely be back. read more

Excellent service and employees before and after purchase of a vehicle. After purchasing a new suburban from Delano Chevrolet I have revisited the dealership a few times. Have always had great service in a timely manner. Kudos to three employees that have been very helpful and who I feel comfortable dealing with, Service, writer, Jose Vaca service manager, Edgar, Suarez, and general manager, Sergio Arradondo. read more

We recently wanted to buy a new suv and there wasn't much to pick from so we drive to Delano. We were treated nicely. We found a suv we liked and my husband negotiated a deal on our old suv and the new suv. They were nice to negotiate with. We had no problems with the purchase but none of my husbands emails after the sale are being answered. We have not heard from them at all. Good customer service entails follow up. We made a deal we are happy with and would buy another car. read more

Dealt with a gentleman named Hector who told me one price and charged me another. the interest rate was crazy and all types of charges I didn't want. I was too trusting as I had bought my truck there , but the truck I traded in they took a month to pay me out and had to chase them down , the surrounding chevys are much more professional read more

We went to the service department at Delano GMC a few weeks ago. Frank and the courtesy shuttle driver provided excellent service. They were very professional and personable, exceeding helpful, showed concern for our time, and care for our vehicle. They are very customer-service oriented. I'll highly recommend nobody to use this place , it is full of low quality people that are going to try to make all the money they can from you , big warning , I took my girlfriends car that is a Chevy sonic 2017 because it was leaking oil , we previously took the car to a local mechanic, he estimated that an engine oil cooler replacement it was going to be from 380 to 422 plus labor 180 and ordered new parts 200 , so it was going to be around 1000 dollars which was ok to me , but I go to the Chevy dealer in Delano and the service department a guy called Francisco(frank ) asked for around 330 just to look at the car and to leave the car for 2 days just so they can give a estimate , after they did that they started to talk about the car having multiple issues and that was going to cost up to 2500 dollars. it sounded fishy to me, but they already had the car and we thought that they were the Chevy official dealership my partner who is owner of the car decided to just let them fix it , while they took almost 2 weeks with the car , we called other Chevy dealers in Bakersfield asking for prices to compare , and to our surprise the diagnostic for the car was only 180 with them wish is half of what the Delano Chevy ask for . They are going to ever charge you in every way possible, if your car has any problem they are going to try to find extra problems that your car may not have just to try to get money out of you , they can say that your car has this or that and they can show you pieces of parts that they have save so they can show you " proof " and there's is nothing you can do to prove other wise .they also left a dent in our car which I uploaded the pics of how they left our car after they gave it back , these people have no morals or values , make your self a favor and don't come here . read more

Art was a life saver this morning-- my tire popped before their service station even opened, and he was kind enough to help me change it and get me where I needed to go. I had a 12+ hour trip in front of me, and I can't put into words how much this meant to me. God bless Art. I would not be writing a review for this place if not for him. read more

I don't recommend anyone bringing the vehicle to your service here. I've been waiting for four hours. They just took off the tires of my car. They took another three hours just to add one little part where anyone else could put it on like less than an hour, and they damage my rim and they keep telling me they're going to start putting the tire back on and they don't. They have people working they're just standing around doing nothing. I do not recommend vehicle here bad service. read more

Worst dealership at have ever visited. The service department and the representative are disgusting. The way that they handle business. I'm surprised that they even are profitable in that area because then lack of attention to the customers needs. They don't care what it is you're therefore as long as you spend money I waited in the service department for over an hour and didn't get seen. Nobody asked why I was there. I had an appointment and nobody breed me they just went about their mini little lives thinking the world revolves around that. read more

I took my car in for a warranty job, got done. It doesn't seem to have any problems with that, but they returned my vehicle with my stereo, back up camera, & steering wheel buttons not working properly. We called to get it fixed, took it in and they had it for 4 days just to say they couldn't because it didn't fall under the warranty since it wasn't OEM. The work they did to my vehicle had nothing to do with electrical stuff so they messed it up and now don't want to fix it and deny for us to speak to management. Now I have to pay 200$ plus out of my pocket for damage they did to my vehicle. Don't recommend read more

I purchased a Trax from Jorge at Delano Chevrolet. They have a teacher appreciation program that offers a discount depending on which car is purchased. Jorge delivered the car after it was detailed with a full tank of gas. He explained the features of the car very thoroughly. Call Jorge if you are looking for a car. It is worth the short drive to Delano. read more

This dealership is very incompetent! Traded a car in thinking they would pay of the lender sooner then later. We'll... after being notified that my credit had dropped 35 points, and there is now a delinquent mark on my credit score, all because it took them 20 days to electronically pay off the car. Electronically... what should that take? ... 10 minutes? Not 20 days! Was building my credit to buy a new house for me and my family. Now that's on hold... not like there's cars flying of off the lot. They had time, just didn't care. Be careful buying from them! Make sure to follow up! read more

We purchased a new Traverse just about a year ago. The red flags should have warned me off, but I was tired and REALLY WANTED to buy. The salesman ignored my concerns when I mentioned that I wanted extras. I think he felt my trade was a certain level vehicle without these upgrades, (a Tahoe LT)so why should I be wanting them in a new car? JERK! The truth was my LT was only the DVD players from being an LTZ. I was accustomed to all of the bells and whistles that come in the LTZ and was interested in THAT model. I'm disabled and having the seats self adjust is a HUGE deal for me! Having the rear hatch open and close automatically is also a huge blessing denied me because some JERK didn't want to listen. The vehicle didn't have running boards, I am SUPER short and require them in all but the lowest of cars. We had to have them installed after read more

Take forever to send reimbursement money and the only reason it got sent is because I called and had to complain to them about the money they owed me. I had to explain how they owed me and they were dumb founded! Also canceled my extended warrant and now I have been waiting on that refund. It's been 2 months and nothing has been sent out. I called and they said I would get a call back. And nothing I'm still waiting on my refund. Its ridiculous how long it takes. And I shouldn't have to go out my way to remind them read more

It was a great experience from start to finish. Armando was focused on MY needs the entire time, instead of trying to push me toward something I didn't need. Tanya handled my paperwork, and she was fantastic as well. Very thorough and answered all of my questions without hesitation. I have purchased three vehicles here. The staff is friendly and professional. They take time to answer all questions and find the right vehicle for you. They do not come across as pushy or overbearing as some places can feel. The dealership is not huge, but they have plenty of inventory to choose from. The inside is a typical dealership. Nothing fancy. read more

This is a pretty good dealership they work with you to get you into the car you want they have a wide variety of vehicles to choose from new or used. The sales associates are very professional and knowledgeable they are honest with you and help you out. I was able to drive off the lot in a Brand new Vehicle I was looking for a used Vehicle but was able to get a brand new one at a payment I could afford. The facility is very clean and presentable. The only down side is that the service department takes awhile to do maintenance on your vehicle even if you have an appointment it takes about 3-4 hours so if you need service it's going to be a wait other than that everything is great come and check them out if you want to get into a new vehicle it will be worth it and you won't regret it. read more

Wonderful experience buying my last two vehicles and I can't wait again to purchase my next vehicle here. Everybody there made my family and I very welcome. The sales person and the manager were very attentive and made sure I purchase the right vehicle that fit my everyday lifestyle. My salesman also introduced me to the service department so I know who to go to when I get my free oil changes and other maintenance. Be careful when buying a CPO vehicle. I was sold a vehicle that did not meet the GM CPO guidelines and to this day they still have not given me a or let me a look at a copy of their most up to date guide on the certification process. I just wanted to make sure i was not out of line asking for resolutions to problems because i had an out of date copy of the CPO guide. I just gave up on resolving the issues after months of leaving my car and picking it up to have to take it back again and not getting loaner vehicles as promised. I even advised them that a simple buff would not remove these defects in the paint but they did it any ways multiple times but still somehow expected it to work even though the other times didn't. I will give them they did repair the wheels which all 4 were curbed and they replaced the missing trim/molding but either one by itself should have disqualified the vehicle for CPO until repaired so how it got certified i don't know. Jeremy was probably the only person helpful in the entire dealership but management kept throwing him under the bus everytime i complained for some odd reason but i am not a fool Jeremy is a lower level employee he does not have the power to make the decisions for the things i was asking. So hats off to you Jeremy i hope you still work their but also hope you dont and found someplace better because they dont deserve an employee as good as you. Update 1/23/18 I didnt make that appointment and even then thats irrelevant. I also have all that i didnt need the inspection or benefits guide. I wanted the dealerships operations guide. Which instructs the dealership on how to inspect a vehicle for mechanical and cosmetic issues. Which i was finally able to get no thanks to Delano GMC. which proved my claims were legitimate. read more

Purchased two 2015 Chevy suburbans at this location. Called them for the first time ever recently to get warranty information from the service people. Spoke to Chris the "service desk manager" he provided me with false information. Talking about I couldn't come to Bakersfield to get my warranty covered. Confirmed that the information he gave me was false and was directed to talk to him again. Left him a message to call me back a few times and It never happened. Tried calling another person at the service desk and spoke to Arthur or Arturo and he was completely rude and no help at all. He couldn't even find any record of the vehicles purchased there and just hung up on me because he couldn't deal with my request. Tried calling the manager Chris again with no answer. Ended up calling the Dealer manager he wasn't available I told the receptionist that I had to talk to someone ASAP To please give me corporate info and all of a sudden was directed to the contracts manager he was very helpful was able to give me info on my extended warranty had manners and gave me the information that I needed. After purchasing fleet vehicles, rec and personal vehicles at this location for many years I will say that I will never again go back to purchase anything from them again. Our sales dealers name iswas Mary and from what I understand she has retired. No reason to go back for bad service If you need things done immediately or at all for any reason DO NOT DEPEND ON THIS LOCATION!!! read more

Bad customer service. Being a former Delano resident I purchased two vehicles from them in the last 10 years. I am now in the market for a new truck and I decided to give them a shot once again. Seems like they're not interested in selling cars anymore. After calling the dealership twice and messaging the sales manager for a quote, I have yet to receive a response in over a week. Other dealerships called back with quotes within an hour or two and continue to call. I guess Delano Chevrolet must be having trouble keeping cars on the lot since they're obviously not in any hurry to take my money. Too bad, they used to be really good. Fortunately, there are about 6 other dealerships anxiously awaiting to sell me my next vehicle. read more
