The bread tasted fresh and not too flaky and with the cold gelato in the center it was a good combo. The bathroom was oddly constructed. It's a little different than horchatas you typically get in the US - it's less sweet, a little nuttier.. like someone said in a previous review, it reminded me a lot of Chinese soy drinks. We also had ice cream here - soo delicious! One of the staff told us that the 2 most popular flavors were the almond flavor and the llet merengada flavor. The latter is some kind of milk-based ice cream (it translates to "milk meringue"). They put cinnamon on it. I don't know what exactly is in the ice cream but it was so. amazing. Staff was great - patient and willing to explain the flavors to non-locals. It's a little chaotic there especially in the evening, but they've got a really organized system (you take one of those number tabs like at the DMV, and they call out your number when it's your turn). It was so good we had to come back again another day. Good thing we don't live in Barcelona or we'd be here all the time!
