When I had a transmission problem I called my brother to ask his opinion. He suggested talking to Paul and Mike's even tho I don't I've in the Joliet area because they are so very helpful. Well, I called them and spoke to George. He was polite and understanding about my situation, he researched and answered all my questions, helping me for 30 minutes. I am now clear minded on my issue to pursue my repairs locally. If I had the time to get up to Joliet and felt the car could make it, I would seriously consider having them repair it. Joliet you have a real gem in Paul and Mike's Transmission. The transmission from the factory broke down after 100,000 miles. They have replaced water pumps on my cars. They have rebuilt a rear differential for me. Actually they have done more work for me on my cars and trucks than I can mention. Everyone that I have referred to them have raved about them too. Without them I would have needed to buy a new car about every 3 years.

I was directed to D&G (Gordon), I made an appointment, dropped off my Tahoe. He gave me an estimate on a new and a re-build transmission, luckily he was able to re-build it and within a few days I got the phone call that it was done a bit lower than his estimated price. Honest and trustworthy! I would not hesitate to bring any of my vehicles to his shop!

Central was instructed to give us back the headlights so they could be returned to eBay. They did not give them back to us. So I went up there to get them back and they had them so problem solved. NOPE!!! The headlight lenses are scratched up and the body of the lenses are chipped up. There is no way to return them now even though they are defective. Reached out again, took the car back for another alignment., left it AGAIN for days. STILL the car is out of alignment. After consulting another repair shop we were told that it was likely never aligned, period. In the process we have ruined two brand new tires. We had also replaced the rear struts at Central and have been advised that the parts they used were of the lowest quality and need to be replaced. It has only been two months. There was a bit of a language barrier but I'm not sure if it was truly an issue or out of convenience. If you're also a gringo, I would take my money elsewhere. We have spent over $3,000 here and wasted at least $1,000. It's unfortunate.
