Whats there to say? It's just another del taco. Their food is usually pretty decent and unlike other people I have yet to experience bad food here. But my biggest complaint here is the staff at this location. They've managed to do away with the whole "fast food" aspect. If you come to this one expect to wait at least 10-15 minutes sometimes longer. And then to add insult to injury on various occasions when I've pulled up to the window I can clearly see their staff BS-ing with each other, meanwhile there's only one person taking orders and serving food! read more

7/26, 2:10 PM, drive through. The young Hispanic girl working the window- one of the most vicious, rude, horrible employees at any fast food place I've ever visited. She did not utter any profanity, but spoke to me in such an angry, hostile, and testy tone when returning my credit card, and asking me what type of hot sauce I wanted. Wow! I asked her if she was having a bad day. 30 min. later, I called to speak to the manager, and either she or another girl working there said the manager was not there. I asked what time the manager would be in, and she said, "Sorry, I can't give out personal information." Since when did what time the manager was coming in become personal info? Thought we'd stop on the way back out of town for a quick bite... took literally 40 minutes to get food (I only ordered 2 things off the dollar menu) and barely any customers were here. What a great tostada. The guy actually handed it to me upside down so I knew it was going to be screwed up. Every time we go here they forget something or mess our order up. Ordered two meals, when we got to the window we weren't greeted for 3 minutes, paid and had to wait another 4 minutes for them to tell us they are waiting for the fries to finish cooking. At that point I was like okay. No one can control that, it's all fine. 4 minutes later we get our food and go home. Absolutely the worst service ever! My husband and I came through the drive through at 8pm on a Wednesday night. There was 2 cars ahead of us and we sat for a good 10 minutes before ordering. The girl taking the order seemed to struggle when my husband requested no tomatoes but we though oh well, if they end up on there he can pick them off. Meanwhile, as we watched through the window you can see a man complaining at the register inside the establishment and then the manager came over to him. That's not a good sign either. We finally arrive at the window after another 10 minutes and we were given the food without a receipt. I checked the bags and since there was the correct amount of items, we went on our way. Once we got home, I unwrapped my burrito and took a bite and to my dismay it was the incorrect burrito. Further than that, I am very allergic to avocado and the burrito had guacamole in it. Within minutes my lips started to swell. My sister tried to take the burrito back and ask for a refund and they said they were having problems exchanging it without a receipt. So let me get this straight... they messed up the order and gave me the wrong food and then hassles giving my sister a refund or the correct burrito which should have been served the first time around?! Clearly they are lacking in customer service and should probably be sued for lack of attention. It's not that hard to give people the correct order. I wouldn't have had to use my EpiPen if that were the case. **Updated: I posted this review but I also wrote corporate to hopefully prevent this from happening to someone in the future. Just went through the drive-through to get some dinner. Once again I was greeted by a line of no less than eight cars. It took me over 10 minutes to get my food. I literally was able to download this app to my iPhone, log into yelp, and navigate to Del taco's page to add a photo and write a review. I would say that the food here is better than the Dell taco near Scott and antelope Road which is why I deal with the long line but that doesn't mean that it makes me happy to come here that's for sure. This location is absolutely horrendous. I've been living in this area for 17 years and not once has my order ever been correct or enjoyable. Honestly after this trip. I probably won't be giving this location another chance. The 2 older female managers were super rude, my order was missing 2 things, the food was cold and nasty, and my drink was basically just a entire cup filled with ice. I used to give it a go every couple months to see if anything has changed because everyone gets a craving for del-taco. But never again will I be at this location. read more

I have been patronizing this location for about a decade. The food is usually consistent, but the customer service and the accuracy of the order can be hit and miss. Today was one of those hit-and-miss days. After not patronizing them for 6+ months, I noticed that DoorDash now provides delivery from that location, and they start at around 8 AM so I thought I would give them another try. Sadly, two portions of my order were NOT correct, and I did verify my order on the receipt after I noticed the issues: 1) A Medium Iced Tea was delivered instead of the iced Prima Java Coffee; 2) Two half-pound bean/cheese burritos ordered with GREEN sauce were actually delivered with RED sauce. Not Del Taco's fault, but the DoorDash driver brought me food in the restaurant's paper bags instead of keeping the food in the insulated bag that DoorDash provides to the driver. Hence, my hot food did not arrive hot. Also, because the food is dangling in the bags vertically which can mess up some of the items. DoorDash promised me a full refund for this terrible experience, but it will be a long time before I give Del Taco on Newport Road in Menifee, California another chance. This was my first negative experience using DoorDash, so that speaks highly of them. read more

This location is notorious for overcharging! I've pointed out to them more times than I can count how they nearly always charge me a higher price than what is printed on their menu boards, and the excuse they come back worth every time is "we are waiting on a promotion to update it". Sure!!! And I'm not taking a penny or two, like one menu item states $3.19 on the board but they always charge you $3.79 at the window. I will include pictures to show you. They also tend to short me food at minimum 1/4 of the time we go here, honestly don't even know why I go back. Probably won't again. It's been open for about a year. This is my favorite Mexican fast food chain. Cheap, fast, almost good, 24 hour processed crap of flavor. My list of ok Del Taco items. #1 breakfast taco del carbon tacos, ask for cheese on them. Very Good quick item. $0.79 #2 soft chicken taco on corn tortilla. $0.49 #3 tostada with beans and carnitas added $0.99 yum. #4 and any of the big fat tacos with corn tortillas $1.59 and up. My kid doesn't eat now because they gave me a cheeseburger kids meal with everything on it when I asked for a cheeseburger kids meal with nothing on it just plain meat cheese bun.
