Stopped by today it legit took close 15-20 mins to pay the cashier after placing an order at their kiosk to dine in . Not even getting greeted by staff at all or acknowledged and in addition to that 2 employees making the food and 1 wrking the drive thru ... which leaves the front a ghost town there was quite a few ppl and we all stood there as frustrated. The tables and dine in area was filthy and disgusting and dirty . After finally getting some assistance and paid for my meal my food was just poorly made and tasted , fries over cooked .. chicken tacos were dry like the tortillas it had more lettuce and cheese then protein and everything tasted old. I definitely would never come back .. food poor quality, inside dine in a mess damn mess and just ran to the ground and it's sad because it's in a high traffic shopping plaza . My eldest daughter and I were at this Del Taco in Fontana the other night. We went through the drive-thru. There was one car in front of us which wasn't too bad. There are a few go-tos I normally get at Del Taco. However, I thought I give a few new items a try this time around. I ordered 2 Chicken Del Carbon, 1 Crispy Chicken Taco, and 1 Bean and Cheese Burrito... all with no sauce. I liked the Chicken Del Carbon as it tastes like street tacos with onions and cilantro. However, the chicken were in pieces and not in chunks. It appeared to be the remaining pieces at the bottom of the container if you know what I mean. The flavor was decent. As for the Crispy Chicken Taco, I didn't care for the chicken. It tasted spongy, but the lettuce and cheese were good as usual. I always love their Bean and Cheese Burrito... tons of beans which I love... not so much cheese though. Staff was nice. Exterior was clean. They now accept EBT. read more

Unfortunately they do not take orders in person. They insisted that the only way you can order is via the kiosk. I wonder what would happen if i had to use dollars and cents to pay. The kisok was not wiped down after usage which adds to bacterial concerns. The staff is not engaged but seem cheerful interacting amongst themselves. If the owner thinks this is better it is not, this will be the last time getting food at this location due to this specific outing. I will add that in the 10 mins waiting for my food I saw 4 customers walk out because of the kiosk insistence. Del Taco is not doing themselves any favors by moving to this model. I go to this Del Taco at night, just due to my schedule. i cannot name one time ive gone in the past 2 years that i havent pulled away and im missing items from my order. staff in drive through always seem distracted and i have to repeat my order 3-4 times! and when i go around to tell them im missing items itd turn out they'd either did just forget or just didnt ring it up even after having me repeat what i want multiple times. Not a fan of the self serve kiosk. They're absolutely disgusting. Gone are the days of Covid when every surface was wiped down after every customer. The kiosk's look as if they're never wiped. This alone is reason enough for me to go elsewhere. The employees are no longer engaging with customers unless necessary. With the added feature of self ordering you would think that would free up an employee to clean the dining area which is much needed. read more

The guy who works graveyard with the long hair in a ponytail needs an attitude adjustment. On two separate occasions was he extremely rude to me and I was being polite! Went to Del Taco on 4/7. I understood it was busy! When we walked into the Del Taco on Summit there are 2 machines that you have to order your food. We were trying to order, but needed to make substitutions and we couldn't make it on the machine. We waited for someone to help us manually put it in. After standing there watching them make food for a few minutes. A male employee finally asked if we needed help and said he would be there to help. (Thank you to that considerate person). The manager...I would assume was sassy and nasty lady who told us she would not help us. I understood that they were busy and we were more than happy to wait, but the manager was awful. We left, but will message over to their corporate office. I have never went out to eat at a restaurant or fast food and someone flat out say they would not take my order. The service and employees at this location has vastly improved over the last year. However, the food has gone WAY DOWNHILL. My family and I like to get a fiesta pack every so often when we have busy weeks ahead. The most recent orders we have received taste like the beans have been sucked dry of any flavor they could ever have, and there is barely any cheese in any of the burritos. The service at this location is horrible. They are not friendly or inviting. When I came through the drive thru they asked me to park on the parking lot and wait for my food to be brought out. I didn't come through the drive thru to sit in the parking lot and wait. If I wanted to park and wait for my food I would have gone inside. Why do i have to park in the sun and sit so that they can keep their drive thru times low? Be more effective and efficient at your job. Del Taco used to be absolutely one of my favorite fast food places. However, this particular location (my local Del Taco) has been a complete letdown time & time again. It's not just on one occasion, it's nearly every visit. If something isn't missing, then something was made wrong, if it's not made wrong, then the food was pathetic (nearly empty tacos), and if food isn't pathetic food then you wait in the drive thru with 4 other cars ajead of you for 45mins. And sometimes it's all of the above. It's like, can this location do anything right? Everyone has a bad attitude, and no one smiles. What on earth is management doing here?
