disgusting, the fake version of fake mexican food. it felt cheap and dirty inside. it took forever to get the food to me.

My family goes to this Del Taco drive-thru regularly. Most of the time they get our order correct but not always. There is one girl there that has attitude otherwise most of the workers are good. I'm vegan so I order 2 tacos without the meat and add beans and no cheese. My mom orders the same, but likes the cheese on hers. So this one time all 4 tacos had cheese. I went back in with the bag and told her nicely that all the tacos had cheese. She asked me if I was sure and I said yes and asked them to just make 2 without cheese. (I can't eat cheese and it's shredded fine so it's hard to pick it all off and when they make it without cheese they add more lettuce so if I pick off the cheese I get half of an empty taco!) She took my bag with the tacos and looking at me the whole time she just held the bag over the trash and dropped it in. I told her she didn't have to throw them all away I only needed 2. She proceeded to speak Spanish to the lady who made the tacos and had her re-make all the tacos. She never apologized but seemed put off. Last time we had her she just seems unfriendly and she is so hard to hear over the speaker. With that said there is a young man there who is very nice and the other staff is good. Overall we go back because my mom likes her tacos and it's convenient. My husband gets the 8 layer veggie burrito without dairy and they always get it right and he likes it! read more

I usually don't take the time to review places, but this establishment deserved it. Every time I have gone to this Del Taco, the customer service has been amazing. They're nice, genuine, and down to earth. They've never messed up on an order, and go above and beyond on the hook up for their sauces. For real, I have never had a bad interaction with an employee. Well I'm going to combine two visits experiences. 1st time staff was friendly & helpful and my drink and fries were decent enough for a Fast Food place. The 2 Beer Battered Crispy Fish Tacos were very bad. Over cooked batter, hardly any fish to speak of & the corn tortillas were fully uncooked. Second visit dining room with A/C locked all day long. Go ring bell & the male staff member says I have to stand outside in the 104 degree day and wait for my order. That is So Many ways wrong. read more

With only 3 Del Taco establishments in all of Washington state, it's a rare occurrence that one of them is in the Walla Walla area. This is my go-to late night snack restaurant. And since earlier this year, the drive-thru is open 24 hours. This is great for us night owls. Now the food.. ehhh... It's not for everyone. I find myself sticking to only a few of the menu items. The carne asada street taco (previously know as the al carbon taco) is an above average taco that comes from a fast food establishment. The signature Del Taco is what I get the most. It's a nice sized hard or soft taco that will cure a late night craving. Check out their site to see all they have, and before I end this, I must say they are pretty cheap, which is why I find myself going there quite often. read more

Went through the drive-through and ordered a Crispy Chicken Guac Burrito. They asked me what kind of meat I wanted.. should have been obvious as I clearly said "Crispy Chicken Guac Burrito" but I humored them and said "Crispy Chicken please." I got home and opened a regular grilled chicken burrito with no guac, completely different item than I ordered. It was not very busy. This Del Taco seems to get it right about 50% of the time in my experience. Unacceptable. read more

I usually love going here because all employees are so nice but one early morning around 8am I went through and this older lady had tattoos on her knuckles and apparently couldn't understand what a burrito with nothing but lettuce was so when I went to go pay she was ringing me out saying in order my food wrong and that I need to say a plain burrito add lettuce. I didn't think it was too hard yo understand no cheese or red sauce add lettuce but apparently I was wrong and she was happy to tell that. Then I asked for salsa from the dining area. Forgot about doing it at the speaker box. I was just tired or repeating my order so I didn't think about getting salsa but once I asked she gave out a big sigh and was like yea next time you need to order it once your order your food. Haven't been back since that which really sucks because I love their food and other employees but she just made it a miserable experience. read more

Every time we go through the drive thru the woman that takes the orders is so miserable, condescending and unhelpful.

My wife loves the fish tacos here, and my daughter really likes the jalapeno poppers. I typically order the taco salad, and for the price, it is well worth it. The drawbacks to Del Taco in College Place has been the consistently slow service in each of the visits our family has made here. read more

Nice cheap food, especially with some of the summer specials going on. I like the food a lot better than Taco Bell and the Veggie Works Burrito is a great choice for vegetarians (though I can't tell you whether their sour cream is truly vegetarian if you're that much of a stickler like my sister). I really like their fries but I'm trying to avoid getting in the habit of eating them. My wife loves the fish tacos; I don't care for the cilantro and onions they put on them. We both really like the Mexican Caesar Salad. I'm glad to see the chain is expanding this far north. Cons: Sometimes the tables can be a little messy on the inside and one day my wife heard one of the owners lose his cool and start swearing at an employee, but after countless visits nothing like this has happened again. read more

Our order has been wrong three times in a row. The food is decent, don't get me wrong. I order, what I want, but do not receive that. Obvious miscommunication, or lack of general understanding of language there. If they would get a full order right, through the drive through, they might get a decent review from me. I really like Del Taco because the food doesn't seem like fast food. I am pretty health conscious and their classic crunchy tacos are right up my ally as far as calories go. Been here half a dozen times from the Tri-Cities (which needs a Del Taco!). Up until the other day, always received great food, and good, fast service. This time (Sunday, 9/18, 10 a.m.) they dropped the ball. The two guys working behind the counter basically ignored us, saying something about "working on a big order". We watched them take two drive-thru orders while we stood there for 3-5 minutes - no "just a moment", "be right with you" - nothing. Finally turned around and left, telling the customer behind us we hoped she'd have better luck. We'll try them again - we love the food, and it's probably a one-time thing. Inexcusable customer service though, and the management needs to be aware of what goes on when they're not there! read more

The epic steak, bacon and potato burrito was really good. The fries however were cold (we ate inside) and the lady working the register had a really foul attitude. I understand people have bad days and life sucks sometimes but I just asked what was on one of the other burritos and she rolls her eyes and starts listing it and overall she just had a snappy rude tone. I have given this place a chance and chance again but every single time I do they manage to screw my order up no matter what time you go in there even when it's not busy and I'm the only one in line they can't manage an order like a quesadilla and two tacos they forget one of the tacos or a cheeseburger but they forget the f_cken burger usually because they're to busy talkin to one another rather then doing the job they're being paid to do and it doesn't matter what age either every one of them screw the order up and if I could they would get zero stars because they definetly do not deserve any read more
