If I could write a review with zero stars I would. I actually use to work at this location in 2006, it has gone down hill drastically. My my boyfriend and I went in to use the restroom and get some food to go. Once we were inside the place was horrendous! The table tops were filthy and the employees didn't even look like they worked there. Super unprofessional. We ordered some food and I asked if I could use the key to the bathroom. The guy said I didn't need one so I went in and used it. It was disgusting! There was trash everywhere and the toilet wasn't even white anymore. We got our food relatively quickly and left. We started digging into the fries ate a few and then I pulled them out of the bag. There were several long black hairs in the bag. We stopped eating it. I almost lost my appetite, but I stuck through it. My bf got a burrito and I got a couple chicken taco's. I took one bite of my taco and had to spit it out! I almost threw up! My boyfriend took a couple bites of his burritos and said it tasted awful and quit eating it. My boyfriend is ex-marines and by him not wanting to eat that food made it even worse. If you know what the military gets fed, this food is beyond that. We threw all the food away. So in the end we spent 16$ on two drinks. I think the place needs to just close down. I don't understand how it passes health food inspection. Maybe the health inspection needs to go there with no warning. Whatever you do don't even bother stopping! read more

I agree with Roberta S. This location surprised me today at lunch. We were on our way to grocery shop and didn't want to go on an empty stomach (Hello putting EVERYTHING into the cart because you want to eat!) So we stopped in. There were a lot of people here and when we walked in the place smelled awesome. We split a few supreme hard tacos, chicken soft tacos, and the spicy jack quesadilla. The supreme tacos were awesome, fresh tasting sour cream and I LOVE Del Taco's shredded cheese. Chicken soft tacos were ehh. The chicken was weird shapes like it was chopped by a blind person instead of strips or shredded. It tasted as sad as it looked. The spicy jack quesadilla however, was probably one of the best quesadillas I've ever had, and I don't even like quesadillas that much! This one was just perfectly flavored, the cheese was melted and the chicken was delicious. Plus I think they used a press or something to flatten it and it was crispy and flat. I recommend this highly. So I am adding another fast food chain to my reviews, but for good reason. This Del Taco rocks. Oh and for two people we were full for a little over $8! read more

So we stopped here to grab a quick bite to go and use the restroom on Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend. I place my order and pay for it, go use the restroom and what do I find when I come back out to the order counter? Young Male employee with braces sticks his hand into my food box and grabs a couple of french fries and shoves them in his mouth. Really gross restaurant worker? You are disgusting. My 1st time trying Del taco. I went in 10:30am. Ordered grilled beef burrito. Honestly, it was GOOD! My burrito was huge and loaded with tasty grilled beef. Beans were moist and fresh. Overall, I am very happy with my 1st visit. read more

Review from 8/2/2022 visit: This Del Taco location is so, so bad. It has been understaffed for a while now, and they got our order wrong. Inside, the floors were gross and sticky, none of the tables were clean, and even the walls and windows were nasty. Our shoes stuck to the floor as we walked throughout the restaurant. The staff were rude and rushed. One employee was wiping his forehead with his gloved hand and continuing to handle food. None of the three employees that I could see were following proper cleaning and sanitizing protocols. I ordered (2) Epic Fresh Guacamole Burritos with Beyond Meat but got plain Beyond Meat Burritos instead. It turned out that that was what they charged me for, but it was not what I said when I ordered. They were so backed up rushing to keep up with the few people who came in to eat and with the drive-thru that I didn't dare go up to the counter because I would have been waiting a long time for them to make my order right and they seemed so stressed out they probably would have spit in my food or something. I did not want to risk it. A few months ago, we were going to eat here, but the dining room was closed and only the drive-thru was open. It was hot and we did not want to eat in our car, so we left. And a time shortly before that, we ate here and they were again understaffed and the place wasn't clean. This time the place was completely filthy. Our food was just thrown together in a barely wrapped burrito with a small amount of food inside. It felt gross to sit down and eat here. This del taco is without a doubt the worst ran establishment. It took 17 mins for an order of 3 tacos! The employees are dressed like complete slobs and half of them don't even do there job. The smell of freshly replaced oil kinda ruins the sanitary feel. Most would assume it's rotten eggs. It's pretty rough. But the people inside were bright and cheery. The fries sitting out they quickly dumped and made me fresh fries. I didn't even ask but I watched them decide fresher was better. Good call guys. read more

Of course first off you have to remember this is a fast food establishment. So I'll start off by saying Dakota was very kind and pleasant, our order came out fresh and fast. More like zero stars, came here for food well before they closed and went through the drive through three times watching the kids "working" talk and not acknowledge me then as two more cars go through I call about the hours and then tell me they close at 10 which on their website is not true at all when it's really 11 but anyways closing at "10" when I went there at 10:45 which makes sense they stay there 45 minutes after closing then as another car goes through the drive through they finally answer saying they're closed at 10:50 which makes even less sense and they just thoroughly enjoyed watching all the un happy customers drive through, awful experience when I was actually excited to go. read more

I'm a sucker for fries and Mexican food and this place has them both. It was ran by all teenage boys who were all seemingly nice...they just couldn't get our orders right. "No special sauces" turned into "go ahead keep the ones that I put the sauce on". I can deal with that after they gladly replaced them, but I can't deal with beef instead of chicken... We stopped here on a Sunday afternoon for a bite on the way to Sedona. The restaurant is newer and quite a few young workers were on shift. Management should train the employees here! They were lethargic, not smiling or accommodating at all. The place wasn't even half full but there was not a clean table to be found. Youngsters standing around the register looking bored should rather be hustling out to clean tables with a smile on their faces...after all, they have jobs. Maybe it isn't the job you see yourself in forever, but wherever you are, you should be present; and taking pride in your work. I figured the manager probably took the day off, because the staff was asleep at the wheel. My friend found two roaches in the bathroom and one was still alive, on its back. 1/2 a STAR! Hungry, tired and hot, my fam. and I visited your anthem restaurant. We went inside to place an order so we could take a load off from our long drive. We were the only ones in the place so immediately we walked to the front of the line to order. I stood there for 10 min while they ignored my presence scrambling to get 2 cars through the drive thu. The workers seemed completely out of it, and understaffed. At that point we should have left but we were already there. I decided to order the easiest thing on the menu which was the 8.99 meal deal, consisting of 4 tacos and 4 bean burritos with an added small french fry, and strawberry shake. The girl couldn't get my order down to save her life and kept switching from one register to the next. So I finally give her my order, pay and then after the fact she tells me the shake machines were down! Bummed, she hands me back my change. We gather outside, were waiting on our food for 15 min. Meanwhile, the tables were filthy, two of the employees huddled in front of a overflown, wind blown trash can to have a smoke. The bathroom was just as filthy. We go back inside to check up on things , they are still working on getting the 2nd car through the drive thru. We finally get our food, 5 lonely fries in a bag and no milkshake! The meal deal was barely edible, stone cold beans, dried up taco meat, hungry though we choked down what we could in dissillusionment . We definitely took a load off the next day, laxatives anyone? It should have been a sign that the food was not going to be good when they were too lazy to get the lights turned on the outside of the building... My French fries were mushy and barely warm. Nine dollars for one TINY carnitas taco and a medium order of jalapeno rings. What a rip off! The rude lady working the drive through hit the wrong button on the register, cursed, then grabbed a calculator to total my order of two items. I should have questioned the nine dollar total, and had I known how minuscule the carnitas taco was going to be (seriously, it was one bite, that's it) I certainly would have. Now don't get the wrong idea, this place has problems beyond just the price and point of sale issues. I usually don't complain about price and I'm willing to pay if the food is good, but there was nothing about the food to redeem my experience. Traveling from Az to Ca there are a lot of Del Tacos I stop at and I really like their food when made right. But the Anthem Del Taco is the wort run one probably in the entire chain. There is this old lady that works there and is nasty to the customers and I saw her yelling at one through the Drive-Though almost to the point of a Fist Fight. That happened after I noticed the cockroach on the floor as I was bating off a fly from attacking my taco. It felt almost like a cartoon joint rather than a Del Taco from the others I go to while traveling. So just a hint, drive to the next Del Taco and good luck to you if you enter the Anthem Del Taco.
