Neat little place with a lot to offer. Pendleton Blankets, Mexican made pottery, turquoise jewelry, lots of local artwork and tapestries. Can't beat the prices for this authentic stuff. Friendly and helpful staff. Definitely worth the stop!

Everything here was wayyy better than in Ruidoso. Lots more than just playful junk. Extremely helpful staff and they held our stuff while we stopped and everything. Definitely love the large selection of blankets and rugs!!!

You can't miss this place when you are driving North or South on Highway 54 and 70.

In addition to treasures, there is also local art for sale and the building itself is historic - it still houses the safes from a previous life as Alamogordo's first bank! While making our purchase, Chris (the owner/operator) mentioned an occasional local history tour that he gives. We made a point to come back for the next one and it was a great time! Start at the Emporium with mimosas and meet and greet, then walk with the group to several historic locations around downtown (where each proprietor offered their own stories and info about that place.. The tour includes lunch and concludes at the nearby Tularosa Basin History Museum - admission to which is also included in the tour price. All of the people involved in the tour are excited about revitalizing this part of Alamogordo and it shows! We will be back in the future to see how things are coming along!

Lots of locally handmade items, wearable art, jewelry, souvenirs, home decor, men's vintage clothing, hand made soaps, cool second hand items, records, and a selection of plants. I loved the place. It smells good and the prices are very reasonable. I recommend.
