In Fact, she said that more than once. I instantly felt unwelcomed. I asked the medical staff if stitches are a service that is provided. She responds by saying "...yes but there's already 4 patients ahead of you and you can't get stitches at this time of night anyway. I respond by saying "so a person has to be dying in order to get medical attention?" The medical staff responded by saying "yup!". I leave walk out of the facility then shortly return to ask the medical staff who turned me away what her name is. Her response was Latonya Sutton. After she tells me her name, she then proceeds to offer medical assistance. This encounter was beyond unacceptable. The "urgent cares" doors were open for patients yet I was turned away for what reason? They didn't want to provide me with services until I asked for a name. I went to an authentic urgent care facility and they said luckily i don't need stitches and sealed my cut with skin glue that only took a few minutes.

Sometimes I arrive early and they adjust the schedule so that I can be seen early instead of having to wait until my appointment time. Dr. Rayner listens to my concerns and let's me know my options. I decided against the swine flu vaccine for my child, and although he said it was safe, he respected my wishes and said a prayer over her with me. He is very knowledgeable and is always available for any concerns that I may have. He is gentle with my daughter who is absolutely terrified of the doctor's office. Patients should take note: the answering service her practice uses close to the end of the day isn't exactly top notch. Twice, they've told me that the office was closed, even saying "everyone left for the day" an hour early. It wasn't true. If the answering service tells you that the office is closed, but hours of operation say it's not, take a few minutes and drive over if you're local. They'll probably still be open.

She does a great job taking care of my two little ones and never makes me feel bad for worrying or overreacting. She just has a very calming effect. She's one of the best. There are two downsides. One - even with an appointment it can sometimes be a half hour wait. Two - they are only open every other Saturday and with two little kids it can be pretty hard to get through the weekend when someone is not feeling well.
