The lashes are really great! I was new to the lash world, and went to them the first time in September. I really LOVE my lashes! They're addictive, and totally transform your face. Everybody there does a really great job. My concern is that there is a really high turnover rate. Every time I find somebody I like, they no longer work there. I have been coming here for a while because they talked me into a membership that I don't know why they have because it doesn't save you money and you don't need one. I tried to cancel it by calling they told me it was canceled and then I was billed again the next month and I was told that there was nothing they could do. I canceled my membership because the lash extensions are supposed to last 2-3 weeks and mine last not even a week before needing refilled. The manager Mo acts as if I am straight up pulling my lashes out and YELLED at me that it was my fault and that it was not their fault they were falling out. I told her that I bought all the companies cleansing and care kits and strictly follow the rules for caring for my lashes. read more

Went in for a lash lift / tint. The only good thing about the experience was the lady was nice. At first I thought my lashes looked a little different. Of course it was hard to see past all the extra adhesive / tint left over on my lashes. For the first 24 hours you can't put water anywhere near them. So, I waited two days to wash my eyes. Long story short, my lashes had no tint or lift after 3 days. Actually, my lashes looked better before. I tried emailing the company before leaving a bad review - with no response at all. Don't waste your money or your beautiful lashes. Posting before / after pics. Extremely disappointed and learned to just embrace what you're born with bc doing all this extra stuff isn't worth it. I have had a membership with Deka Lash for over a year now. Back in April, it was noticed there was an error in the Deka computer system and the money wasn't taken out of my account for 3 months. I was told the back pay would be taken care of and I could move forward with my regular memebership. Now, almost 4 months later, when going to the Bethel location, I have $400 removed from my account in a 3 day period. I never authorized these transactions. I have called the Canonsburg office every day since Saturday, being told I would have a call back and never receive one. My lash stylists at the McMurray location are amazing but the customer service side of Deka Lash is absolutely HORRIBLE. read more

I can't believe I ever gave this establishment so much of my money. They obviously don't care about customer satisfaction. In the six-month time frame that I was a member ive gotten two false charges from them on my account. Had to call the customer service hotline to get it refunded and they acted like it was my fault. They finally refunded me then when I asked for a credit to my account for the inconvenience they refused. If you're a member make sure you keep close eye on your bank account, seems like a type of scam they like to run. read more

I went in for a full set yesterday , I haven't been to a Deka lash in about a year I restarted my membership and was super excited. The start of my appointment with mo was ok she seemed super friendly, but the she put so much cleanser on my eyelashes it actually went into my eye and caused it to burn. She explained that the cleanser is very gentle and it shouldn't be burning my eye. ( although it was in fact burning my eye) she barley rinsed it off my eyelid was sticky from the cleanser. Fast forward to picking my actual lashes she was pushing the true express lashes so much when I had said 2 times I did not want that set of lashes. I then decided to go with the hybrid set. Which mid you is 150.00 for members . Which is pricy. It was very hard to relax with Mo yelling at McKenna ( I think that's how you spell it) from 3 stations away about her timing with her client. Mo then proceeds to explain to the other lash artist about abusing products because Deka lash is a small business and they have to "stay afloat" so she shouldn't spend more then 30 mins doing a refill. This just kept happening to where she would yell and tell her to finish up until she was finished. I don't believe this is something that should be yelled a crossed the salon, especially about financial things it should be talked between the employees when clients aren't laying down trying to get lashes done. And really I felt bad for McKenna she said she only has done refills 2 times so she was fairly new. I was feeling uncomfortable I can't even imagine how her client was feeling. Then once I get home a few of my volume lashes had already fallen out , in the begging the reason she talked me into a hybrid set from classic set was because of the retention. Well already about 6 lashes have fallen out in not even 24hrs . I am very upset and I will not be returning. I spent 150.00 and drove 35 mins both ways just to have no lashes. The WORST EXPERIENCE!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!! I had an appointment for Volume Lashes. I also pd full price including a 20% tip because the girl was sweet and professional..... However, the lashes lasted barely 24 hrs. i called to complain and the "CALL CENTER" not a receptionist or technician at the location but a random person that deals with customers generally. Anyways, i was given a second app to FIX my lashes and when the day came, I was not on the schedule so again i called AND got the CALL CENTER where i was assured a call from the owner and given yet another appointment 2 days later... Again I show up and this time sugessted to try classic lashes and be credited the cost difference onced approved by the owner.... END RESULT was lashes still lasted ONLY 24hrs and no call still from the owner.... i. am out $190. and will NEVER RETURN... THE SADDEST PART IS THAT I AM A HAIRSTYLIST IN PGH AND WILL TELL EVERYONE TO STAY AWAY!! I mean really WHAT kinda of business takes no accountability or even a phon e call. read more

My lashes did not even stay on a week after following all their instructions, and then when I contacted them it took them 22 days and multiple messages to respond and say I could not have a refund Do not go here unless you want to be scammed out of $80. Tech was super nice and very educational. However. The lashes started falling off the same DAY. I had bought all the products suggested for after care. I did not rub them. I looked to see if there was a bulb, if it was my natural lash that fell off, but it was the extensions. By about day three they were gone. I went to a small business salon near me a week later and got a fill, it cost less, and it stayed 2.5 weeks without falling out! I've been going there ever since with zero issues, so I know it wasn't my doing. I sent one email to complain and never heard a peep. Lesson learned. read more

The Deka Lash technician are wonderful my lashes look great but they don't last 2 weeks! I have an Elite membership that costs 99.99 and I get 2 fills a month the Unlimited membership is 164.99 and you get 4 fills a month. But lady's save yourself some money you can get 29.99 express fill inbetween your membership fill. So do the math that's comes to 159.97 wow. They are ripping people off with their memberships. They were running a little behind but for a brand new set it only took a little over an hour. JD was knowledgeable and friendly and she did an excellent job on my lashes. I recently had a Groupon for lash extensions. Melissa did a great job applying my lashes, she was very courteous and we had great conversation throughout my appointment. Unfortunately, I developed an allergic reaction to the glue and my eyes became very swollen. I contacted the salon to have them removed. JD did a great job removing my lashes which were very difficult to remove. I was expecting the service to be complimentary as I still had a fill left on my Groupon. As my lashes were being removed the other technicians were sitting around the salon gossiping, swearing, and talking about getting drunk , all of which I thought was very unprofessional. Honestly I don't recommend going to this location at all. I had an appointment 2-3 weeks ago at 6:30, arrived 10 minutes early as I was asked to when booking, the studio manager Mo checked me in and told me my lash artist would be with me shortly. I sat in that lobby until 6:55. 25 minutes past my appointment, over a half hour in that lobby. Finally my artist came to get me, I had a refill, should've taken an hour, I didn't leave till after 8. This is terrible customer service and trust me, I've been in customer service for over 10 years. My lash artist was nice and all, but come on, Your studio manager couldn't have said let's pick up the pace at all to the lash artist? I completely get new and learning, but if that's the case maybe don't you think you should include a discount/something for the terrible service that was provided to me? I'm not looking for a freebie, trust me, just disgusted at this salon. Never again - reminded me of why I strictly go to the Greentree location only. read more

But this is the worst place to go.. my lashes started falling off the very next day, every time I turned around there was a lash/lashes on my chic, clothes, or brush.. customer service is very rude too, it's like they are aware that they do a shady job hence on a fight back mode, won't even listen to what you have to say first. She is so light with her hands, I hardly could feel anything going on, but my results are absolutely stunning!! She took my lashes and made them stand out! I will most definitely be back to see her! Salon is beautiful but sanitation is something to be desired. I have seen workers not clean area in between clients or their hands after cash register. Definitely not going back. Scary, they are touching eyes also wear a mask if you are sick. read more
