He then let me and my friend roll and then he gave me three pointers: scissor and grab leg, don't let the guy sit up and sweep me, and another move to escape. Highly recommend coming here!

The coach is patient, professional, and truly great with kids -- they teach discipline, respect, and focus in such a fun and encouraging way. I've seen such a positive change in my child's confidence, coordination, and attitude since starting jiu-jitsu. They've learned not only valuable self-defense skills but also how to stay calm, think strategically, and never give up. The other kids are friendly and supportive, which has made the whole experience even better. As a parent, I really appreciate how the instructors balance structure with fun -- every class is well-organized, and the kids are always smiling by the end. You know how some of the younger generation can be pretty snarky, these fellow students were not that way at all! They're pretty cool! (Update: I've been to several classes already & they seem to keep things moving & I'm learning a lot! And sweating alot! Haha...) I could tell that Master Lee has taught them well about respecting self & others! It shows & was so refreshing to see such respect & kindness from the instructor & other students. I was definitely the newest in the class but kept up pretty well. There were a few times that I got tired & had to pause a little. That's ok...I didn't get any stink eye... Hahaha o.O Mostly everyone was so flexible & agile! I can't wait to get there too! Who couldn't use more flexibility?!?! =) The week before class, I dropped by & saw Master Lee & another instructor leading the little kids in class. That was great to see! As I waited, I also sat next to a nice lady & she told me how beneficial Taekwondo has been for her son & husband & their family. I can see what she means by just taking one class! Once that class was over, I was promptly met by Master Lee & we briefly discussed the program & costs & such. I paid & received a uniform. Then I showed up early for class... Let's do this again! Some info you'll need to know if you're a first timer: Shoes aren't used during class, you'll take them off before you get on the mat & store them in a cubbyhole. I wore flip flops for ease of putting on/off. You can bring water...I did & good thing! I found it necessary! You'll sweat up a storm & need to rehydrate. Bring a towel, you're gonna sweat a ALOT! Be early, Keep your nails cut short, Wear a clean uniform & Master Lee will guide you through the rest! It is a warm & friendly environment. Gamsahabnida USTT!

As an on again off again martial arts practitioner myself, I wanted to find a gym that offered great instruction and a profound level of patience for more analytical, and sometimes hesitant, practitioners like myself. Thus far, I can say that Gino's teachings, and the atmosphere all his students provide, has kept me coming back for more. The training is definitely challenging and grueling at times, as does any great martial arts studio provides, but well worth it when you can walk out of there knowing that your fitness level and self defense confidence increased that much more. For those of you trying him out, I highly suggest coming to the open mat sessions too. It will really help you tighten the holes in your fight game. Also, the monthly tuitions are by far the most affordable compared to other gyms in the valley.

The owners are very helpful and accommodating. We visited and got the schedule and our girl came back to the next scheduled class for children between 7-12 years of age. We got to register on site for the class with the owner, Manuel. Parents are able to observe the instruction in a great room with fabrics and silks and mirrors for the class. The very enthusiastic instructor was so warm and encouraging to the children. An hour of instruction with fun music brought the students to a level that they could demonstrate new skills of grasping the fabric, anchoring themselves into basic and then more intermediate positions, all the while getting individual redirection and praise from the instructor. They performed their new abilities and received applause from the gallery. Ruby, one of the family and an instructor, explained that there are adult clients who visit to have restorative stretching and exercise to soothe them after injuries. The attached photos indicate their services. They have a second branch in Palm Springs on Lawrence Crossley, south of the airport and Ramon Road. The prices seem reasonable. We will take our granddaughter again this week. $35. for an hour's instruction. I was so happy to be able to provide her with a birthday gift in an entirely new activity, and she was enthusiastic from the get-go. If you know about the benefits of stretching and restorative range of motion, you will find a new center for supportive instruction. https://artflyingaerial.com/

It was an amazingly fun time! We booked a private class on a Sunday morning (the weekend Hurricane Hilary was in town). We appreciate the staff so much because of how accommodating they were and we were able to customize our class time a bit. We had the entire studio to ourselves and Yolanda was our instructor. Both she and the man who greeted us were so nice! Yolanda had the best customer service. She really catered to us and took her time with us. They both went above and beyond to make us feel special! They even took us to the other room to take pictures and try out moves on the spinning aerial silks. A quality experience! Yolanda started us up with a cardio warm-up that was SO GOOD. We were all sweating and our heart rates were up. We used hula hoops and yoga blocks and it was so much fun. She kicked out booties! Then she taught us some moves on the non-spinning aerial silks. As we became more comfortable, she strung the moves together and had us perform it to music. She was a great instructor and we had so much fun! Afterwards, Yolanda and her coworker were so nice to us and let us take a BAJILLION photos everywhere. They even gave us recommendations on good places to eat. We had a fabulous time and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a new, fun experience!
