She was extremely knowledgeable about the skin and what your body is telling you through your skin. She did a great job and our faces looked and felt amazing after. The spa is a little hidden in a business office environment and it's no frills unlike other spas (i.e. You're not going to hang out in a tea room in a robe), however the place was very clean, cozy, smelled great, and each room was designed perfectly and had the proper cozy ambience. She asked me numerous questions about what style I wanted and didn't start until I finished. What she created was a photograph of everything I described and I received THE BEST HAIRCUT OF MY LIFE!!!!! I always say the sign of a good cut is when you can style it the same way as the stylist did the first time you wash your hair. Locker rooms are universally recognized as places where people have a reasonable expectation of privacy, and recording in these areas can violate that expectation, regardless of intent. Allowing phones in environments where guests are changing creates a real risk of non‑consensual photography or video, which can have legal implications and exposes patrons to harm. Businesses that operate locker rooms and similar facilities typically have a duty of care to protect guests from exactly this type of privacy intrusion. I strongly encourage the spa to implement and enforce a comprehensive no‑phone policy throughout all treatment and locker room areas. A spa should be a place where guests feel safe, respected, and able to relax without worrying about being filmed or photographed in private spaces. I asked "Peter" the receptionist if it could be done in an hour and he said yes. I got there and the lady started soaking my nails in a grocery store plastic bag with acetone soaked paper towels. Weird but ok. After 15 minutes of that, she announced "you have solar nails and we don't do that"! Really?? Your website says you do. See pic. She replied that their website was out of date like that absolved her of any responsibility! It took her 40 minutes of paper towel soaking, sawing away with an electric file and slapping on acrylic to finish one hand! She acted as if she wanted to quit then and actually told me that I should go back to my former nail salon. No joke. She finally finished 1 hr and 20 minutes later despite the promised 1 hour by Peter. My nails were so poorly done. And to boot 3 DAYS LATER my nails are bubbling from beneath the surface. See pic. JoJo greeted me with a smile and then took me back to a very comfortable room. She asked me about any problem areas and I told her my upper back area was very tight. I told her I was feeling warm so she turned on the A/C and then started doing deep tissue. She did my upper back as I requested, but also my lower back, which was amazing. By the time my hour was up, I was cured. My muscles were back to normal and I no longer felt stressed out. I recommend JoJo at JV Foot Spa for all of your deep tissue massage needs. Incidentally, it was clean and the room is sanitized before each patron.
