She was extremely knowledgeable about the skin and what your body is telling you through your skin. She did a great job and our faces looked and felt amazing after. The spa is a little hidden in a business office environment and it's no frills unlike other spas (i.e. You're not going to hang out in a tea room in a robe), however the place was very clean, cozy, smelled great, and each room was designed perfectly and had the proper cozy ambience. She asked me numerous questions about what style I wanted and didn't start until I finished. What she created was a photograph of everything I described and I received THE BEST HAIRCUT OF MY LIFE!!!!! I always say the sign of a good cut is when you can style it the same way as the stylist did the first time you wash your hair. My technician was pretty much on time. So, you may be wondering why the three stars? Well, I'll break it down for you. I was getting eyebrow lamination, getting my eyebrows dyed, getting my lashes lifted and also dyed. Everything seemed to be going well during the services, but that all ended when she was done and handed me the mirror. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. My eyebrows looked CRAZY! I was in shock, they were HUGE and black. Theres NO way she thought they looked remotely good. She did tell me that they would calm down after a few days, that they just looked like that because I just had them colored. Mind you, I have black hair, so they shouldn't have looked that crazy. I mean, they took on a life of their own. A few days passed and they still looked like they were about to jump off my face. I saw my sister about a week after I got them done and she said... WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR EYEBROWS?!?!? I was like... its good to see you too. I mean the brows were very noticeable. Its been awhile now, and they aren't like they used to be. Thank goodness, but it did take awhile. She also didnt do a very good job shaping them, and I noticed some of my brow looked like it had a small chunk out if it. That part is still growing back in. I also dont know what's happening, but some of my brow hairs are LONG. I don't know how that happened, maybe its just a sign of aging, but I do wish that she would have trimmed them and gave me some kind of shape to them. Needless to say, my brow experience wasn't the best. My eyelashes on the other hand looked great! I loved them. I'd go back for my eyelashes again, but I'll leave my brow work to someone else. When I was leaving and went up to pay, they rang me up. I noticed that there wasnt a spot to leave a tip. I asked them and they said that they were a no tip spa. I wasnt mad about that at all. So my experience wasn't the best, but I think that it wasn't super bad either.

I popped by the restaurant and the Bulgogi stew was delicious. Prices were comparable to being outside of the spa, and the quality was just as good. The food came out piping hot with a little kimchi and some potatoes and a small bowl of rice on the side. I have been to more than a handful of Korean Spas and the features that make this one stand out are: Clean smells- sounds strange to have to say this but Gangnam was clean but didn't smell like cleaning products. Each space had a unique scent based on the desired effect - cedar, burning wood, eucalyptus, etc. Comfortable uniforms - woven, soft terry cloth sets that breathed well and were easy to move in. Unique experiences in small niches- hand spa to massage your hands, foot spa with a pebble bottomed pool, plenty of lounge spaces, vibrating plates for muscle activation or relaxation, I honestly didn't have time to do it all. The staff = top notch. Friendly front desk crew gave a great first impression. The superstar was the gal who helped me decide on a tasty dish in the restaurant, providing great descriptions for all of the choices. After 4 full hours, I needed to go to my next meeting and had to leave. Nevertheless I left feeling relaxed and satisfied. Verdict: Check it out but be sure to give yourself at least 4 hours.

Allowing phones in environments where guests are changing creates a real risk of non‑consensual photography or video, which can have legal implications and exposes patrons to harm. Businesses that operate locker rooms and similar facilities typically have a duty of care to protect guests from exactly this type of privacy intrusion. I strongly encourage the spa to implement and enforce a comprehensive no‑phone policy throughout all treatment and locker room areas. JoJo greeted me with a smile and then took me back to a very comfortable room. She asked me about any problem areas and I told her my upper back area was very tight. I told her I was feeling warm so she turned on the A/C and then started doing deep tissue. She did my upper back as I requested, but also my lower back, which was amazing. By the time my hour was up, I was cured. My muscles were back to normal and I no longer felt stressed out. I recommend JoJo at JV Foot Spa for all of your deep tissue massage needs.
