Pat, Fred and Dan and the rest of the team are amazing as they really listened to what I wanted and it came out exactly as I had imagined and envisioned. The quality of the work is second to none. No shortcuts, quality materials and first rate workmanship. I will share a couple before and after pictures so you can see their magic. Pat and his team helped us renovate our basement that included a 1/2 bath, wet bar, media room/game room, along with new windows and doors. From the beginning the entire team was fantastic and clear communicators. We always knew where we were in the project, who was scheduled to arrive and if there were any issues, delays, or decisions that needed to be made. Every member of the team, including sub-contractors, were always prompt and very responsive to any questions or concerns we had, no matter how small. They made it a priority to help us feel very involved throughout the whole project by listening to our ideas as the project progressed. In the end, the project was not only completed on budget, but it turned out exactly as we had hoped and envisioned and we would absolutely love to work with Pat and his team again in the future.

Most notable and dramatic is that they repaired the spa platform crossbeams to something that is definitely aesthetically better looking! They did a lot of cleanup work such as sanding off chalk, and pencil lines previously left behind. They cleaned off the residual cardboard from the sono tube support pillars. But I think one of the most impressive things of all is that they literally raked out all the residual stone, debris and shale that had been left under the spa and deck. My wife was much happier with this result, and I'm grateful to them for following through on these issues. I've posted pictures of the cleanup work that was done by them today.

Granted they were replaced when we pointed it out but, most contractors would notice and rectify without the need for customer concerns and requests. very disorganized and one of the men working on our home flat out lied. the carpenter was excellent and the tradesmen were excellent but as far as the way this business was run, I'd say do just that, run.

From the initial consultation, it was clear we were dealing with true professionals. They really know their stuff when it comes to structural work, which gave us a lot of confidence going into the project. They took care of all the permits and engineering approvals and made sure we understood exactly what was happening at each stage. The wall removal itself was done flawlessly. They installed a support beam that looks like it was always part of the house seamless and solid. The difference it made is incredible. The space feels brighter, bigger, and much more open. After the structural work, they handled the full renovation of the first floor including new flooring, lighting, drywall, and paint. Every part of it was done with great attention to detail. The quality of the work really shows and they were respectful of our home the entire time. Always on time, kept things clean, and communicated well throughout. We're absolutely in love with our new space. It feels like a brand-new home. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend True Structural and Construction to anyone thinking about a major reno or structural changes. You want people who know what they're doing and who actually care about the results. These are those people. Thank you to the whole team. You truly transformed our home.

The project was exceptionally well planned, and they completed it ahead of schedule with exceptional quality and craftsmanship. We especially appreciated how thoughtfully they worked around our family while we continued living in half of the house -- that flexibility made the project affordable and manageable for us. Throughout the process, Hancock seamlessly coordinated with our architect and structural engineer, showing great flexibility and a true commitment to quality. The results have been amazing -- we're already making full use of the new space, and neighbors have been stopping by with compliments, with several saying they're planning to hire Hancock themselves after seeing the impressive work and speed of completion. We couldn't be happier with the outcome and would not hesitate to recommend Darrell and the Hancock Building Associates team to anyone considering a project in the area. We'd definitely work with them again!

Barrowclough came highly recommended, especially Paul Newman. I had seen his work at a couple…read morehomes. It was perfect. When it was time for us to do a major renovation, we invited them to give us a quote with other contractors. We ultimately chose them, although they were not the lowest quote. We chose to leave our home during construction to give them freedom to do their thing. Not only did Paul work quickly and efficiently, but during the job, he called frequently to keep me updated, and he came up with ideas to make the space more usable and modern. Rather than keep 2 old fashioned pantries, he had an idea to pull off the doors and order cabinet frames and doors and extend the kitchen into the hallway. He pulled out the insides and reengineered them to our custom specs. The result was that for minimal cost (hundreds of dollars) we got much more functionality and efficiency. We ended up adding to the kitchen and dining room job. What did we add? We removed popcorn ceiling, painted hallways and stairwell, painted master bath and bedroom, redid two upstairs bathrooms and more. We came home to a new house in April 2021 just as covid is (hopefully) winding down. What a gift Paul is. I'm happy to show the work that Paul and his crew did. He employs the best subcontractors and partners with them to ensure they are working together well. You can't go wrong with Paul and Barrowclough. Paul is a master carpenter.

We had an excellent experience with Tom Barrowclough Contracting on our recent home renovations…read more Tom met with us promptly after I called to request an appointment for a quote. Our project included a new roof, siding and all new windows. Tom delivered our detailed quote within a week or so. Our project started mid July 2018 and was completed last week. We were informed by Tom that the foreman, Paul Newman and crew would arrive at 7:00 am on a Monday morning, which did happen. Going forward Paul was in communication with us daily informing us of the next days schedule. All coordinating of product delivery, plumber, electrician, plasterer were under his supervision. There were no delays even with the August extreme heat. The crew of 3 were courteous and worked consistently through out the day. All materials were cleaned up at the end of the day. We requested some additional projects and the crew all worked together and made it happen. This included painting all the new window trim and a few rooms and ceilings. What impressed us the most, beside the quality of work, was that the Barrowclough team took our project and ran with it while consulting with us if needed. We would rate our experience as 5 stars and will use Tom Barrowclough for our next home project. Pat and John Dunn

I had a sunroom redone -- new floor, new support posts, ceiling, lighting, etc. During the entire process, Bob was extremely unpleasant, to put it mildly. That would be fine, if the work was done well. It most certainly was not. The floor was a complete disaster. A wide plank floor with gaps up to 1/8" in between planks. A sanding and stain job that looked like it was done by someone who's never installed a floor before. Sanding circles all over the floor and bubbles in the poly virtually everywhere. The ceiling planks weren't installed properly and separated and cracked just days after install. The drywall repair was done horribly, the mud wasn't sanded properly and they painted over everything before it dried. To top it all off, they initially put in the wrong supports under the sunroom, only to replace them with the "proper" ones that they decided to cut too short, causing the entire room to separate from the house by about 1/4". For you own sake, if you're reading this review please stay away from these clowns.

The employees were all very professional and knowledgeable. They talked me through all of the issues that could be addressed to make my home more energy efficient and the steps needed to be prepared for the installation. They photographed all areas that were inspected before and after installation. They took care of all logistics and financial coordination of the program and laid it out for me in their co-construct website. They did a great job installing insulation in my basement and attic along with upgraded ducting as required. I paid half of the cost up front and the rest after completion. The whole process was relatively easy. I do wish that the co-construct website would go to a read only mode to access and review documentation, at least for a period of time after the work is complete, so I recommend downloading all materials while you have access. Turn cycle solutions was great to work with and I would be happy to work with them again in the future.
