My partner went to the bar to order drinks and brought them back to our table. We then waited for 30 minutes without being acknowledged or approached. After trying to catch the staff's attention and being ignored, I approached a member of staff to see if we could order and was told that we could not order food because of where we were sitting (we had sat here previously and ordered food). We waited at the bar for a table to become free and our glasses were empty at this stage but we could not get the barman's attention - at one point he was texting on his phone. We eventually had to call him over. When we did get a table, we rushed to it as the staff did not call us over. We sat down and had to get up again to ask for a menu as no one came over to give us one. As mentioned, the food is very good here but that was the only positive aspect of each of our visits. On our first visit here, I ordered frites. When the waiter brought over the rest of our food he knocked the frites on to the ground and walked off - I was not offered a replacement. I felt the staff were not comfortable interacting with us and if we were back in Ireland this service would be completely unacceptable.
