My recent "intercambio/lunch" dates have afforded me the chance to experience the 'menu' experience that everyone else in this city gets to take advantage of.
We stumbled upon Bacus, and selected it because the lunch came with not just one glass of wine, but 2 - and at a good and fair price. Because the sun was shining on the available sidewalk table, we stayed there, and didn't even go into the restaurant. I ordered the eggs for my first plate - and it was a hearty meal in and of itself: 2 eggs, chorizo and ham all in one dish (slightly too heavy/greasy for my taste). The second plate of fish with potato was nice - nothing too special, but well prepared.
Was the food stellar? not really. But it was honestly prepared and fairly priced. I wouldn't call this a destination restaurant, but if you're in the area, hungry, and they have seating - this is a solid choice. read more
