The "issue" he diagnosed wasn't even the actual issue. It was a bad wire, and clogged drain. Not a thermostat. Had we listened to him, we would have paid close to $1,000 and still not have had the answer. The tech was the one "freakin" on his so called diagnosis and pricing. Only call these guys if you want a tech that's doesn't actually care and treats you like a bad mechanic only there for the upsell. Editing to reply to the owner: I have no interest in training your technician how to not be a slime ball. You need to teach your techs how to be honest and more detailed, not just jump to the incorrect conclusion because it's a hot day. I know it was hot. I was the one suffering in my horribly hot house. The thermostat that he said needed replacing is working perfectly well. We had a neighbor with HVAC experience figure out the problem.
