We didn't wait very long for the tech to talk to us, then Dr. Bates walked in to see our cat. The cat has a lot of mucus when she sneezes. Allergies? Respiratory? After the exam the vet told us our options, to begin with an antibiotic. If no improvements were noticed, then she suggested doing a "panel" to be sent to a lab to dig deeper into the problem, checking fluids in throat, nose, and eyes for diseases or other issues. Our visit was $130. We will receive a call in two weeks to see if the cat has any changes with the antibiotic. Then go from there. Pet clean up. Restrooms.

My son takes his dogs to Napoleon Vet Clinic so he called them and she said to bring her in and they'd remove them for me, saving me the half hour drive. The visit was awful. The new vet was short and flippant, referring to the dogs as 'girlfriend' and then addressing me that way too! My husband and I exchanged glances and I excused myself and went out of the room to the counter. I asked for the managing partner and was told there wasn't one there. I asked who was in charge and was told the office manager was out til Monday. They asked what was wrong and I stated that our appointment was not going well as something was 'off' with the new vet. I wasn't sure if it was because one of our pups was a pitbull or what could explain it. They suggested I call Monday. I was hesitant to finish the appointment as the new vet was not listening to either of us when we answered her questions and she dismissed our concerns. To date I've not been able to speak with anyone about this. No one is ever available. Save yourself and your pets from the grief we experienced and if you go to @FountainCityVetrinaryHospitalBryanOhio don't subject yourself or your pets to the new vet! There's nothing but raving reviews so we decided to switch all our animals. Dr. Albalakousy is AMAZING! We are 100% glad we switched and understand why there is no negative feedback! One of our kitties has a bad liver problem so we've been to Dr. A 3 times this year already. She's had to stay a week and then 2 check ups so far after. Chancy has been on 3 different meds daily, she needs to be force feed through a syringe multiple times a day, and now we have to give her an IV every other day. He made sure we knew what we were doing, were comfortable with what we had to do, and that we had everything we needed and then some. He takes great care of our animals and we feel like he REALLY cares. That's super important to us. And on top of that, he doesn't outrageously charge you! Just as an example of how he really cares: We were in an exam room but you can see right out into the waiting area and a dog walked in and immediately collapsed on the floor. Our cat has a problem but not a life and death problem, so he excused himself, and went to check on the dog. He carried her to the next exam room and started taking care of her immediately because she really needed the help. Now that is a vet that cares. He came back and apologized but why apologize for taking care of an animal more in need? It was great what he did and it made us feel better about how he treats the animals at the vet. :)

They care about their humans as much as the pets. I will say their spay/neuter prices are steep, however they do give care to your pet while they recoup from their surgeries, unlike some of the cheaper places that use local anesthetic only, and send them out the door. Heidt doesn't do that, I've been impressed with their business for the last couple years, in fact, I've sent more people to go to them than my normal vet I use.
