Everyone I interacted with was pleasant & polite. However, I had been growing my hair out for a year after a disastrous cut at a different salon and explained my fears to Ashley, the owner. We spoke for quite a bit and I felt like I was being listened to. She said she understood the trauma of a bad haircut and was very empathetic. Ashley suggested Brooke would be perfect to take care of my needs and give me the look I wanted. Fast forward 2 weeks to my appointment and I find out Ashley didn't book enough time for me to get a cut, color, & style (even though that's what I asked for), so I had to be fit in around the following appointment. In addition, Brooke was running late from the previous appointment so I got even less of my "allotted" time. It made me feel like an afterthought and not a valued customer. It's not a bad haircut, it's just not what I asked for in ANY way. I couldn't tell how wrong it was until the next day since she curled it. I have to fuss with it quite a lot to look presentable as it flips out in different directions if I don't use flat irons and lots of product to tame it. Now I have to wait at least 6 months to grow my hair out and roll the dice again at another salon. I don't understand how someone who cuts hair for a living didn't understand the basic concept of layers. Also, I don't know how the owner could've been so off target about her stylist's skill set. The overall feeling in this salon is clickish and if you're not a regular you're left out.

Allow me to paint a picture for you. When you enter the place, at first it will seem inviting.  This however, won't last long as it is attached to a mechanic's office, and is quite noisy, and more cramped than the garage Harold will not clean. You are then greeted by Mrs. Johnson, likely with a phone still surgically attached to her ear, it's obvious why she isn't a nurse, she has terrible chair-side etiquette, imagine my shock and dismay when during the cut Mrs. Johnson began blowing on my neck! I was appalled, and so was my friend Dorothy. She then proceeded to overcharge me for my cut (which I had to re-do upon returning home, as well as tried to shill me products that I could likely get at Sally's 30 dollars cheaper. My money will be going elsewhere. Allow me to re-iterate, I've seen Harold's buzzcut from when he returned home from the war, and my boys returning home from the army, and their hair was styled better, at least it was cut straight! -Edna

I would like to thank all the staff for the massive measures they have taken so not only them but all their customers are safe with COVID 19. They have not taken a chance of anyone getting sick. Yes they where their masks 8-12 hrs a day and so do customers,temp checks, and hand sanitizer.
