Such a cute place, i want to pinch its cheeks. I usually get ma peoplz flowers from this here store. The floral selection is super vast, and the shop keepers make beautiful fresh bouquets with whatever flowers or color schemes that you desire. The owners are a nice korean couple, and this one time the husband asked me why i had a septum piercing. He seemed really perplexed, and his wife changed the subject really quickly and mumbled something i korean to get him to shut up and not outwardly judge his customer. I thought it was hilarious, and cross-cultural/generational misunderstandings usually don't bother me. Only thing "meh" are the cards. I was not from the area and their store was an hour away and instead of cancelling the order they hand delivered it for no additional costs. I was so happy that my niece received her flowers for there wasn't enough time to reorder through a nearby florist. They are amazing! Awesome customer service and the flowers looked so beautiful!! I get totally hosed every year ordering flowers for my mom on her bday, valentines and Mother's Day. The amount they charge on these holidays for roses in such a rip off. Flowers are ok in looks and last the best 4-5 days. The only good things is that you can order the day before a holiday and they deliver quickly. Nothing special but nothing horrible either. $99 for roses or pay $30 at Whole Foods and get way better flowers but you have to deliver yourself. If I lived where my mom lived on would go to Whole Foods. read more

I hired them to do all the floral arrangements for my wedding, I had a consultation with them and showed them pictures of what I wanted. They told me what was doable for the season of flowers and were just upfront and straight to the point as far cost was. The day of my wedding I was just taken aback on how unbelievably breathtaking my arrangements were, everything looked exactly like the picture I showed them. I've order flowers from here a few times now and every single time they've always come out great. they can do delivery the same day too. I ordered flowers for a friend and since they weren't home at the time of delivery they called to make arrangements on getting the flowers to them and even delivered them to a different address without an extra charge. awesome service in my book! read more

Do not order from this place if you are having an event. My fiancé and I went to Deerfield Florist as it came recommended from a Restaurant we were using to have our reception. Our initial consultation went well, but after we decided to remove an item from the quote we received then everything changed. It appears if you are not spending a lot of money with these guys you don't get what you pay for. First, you get to speak with some jerk that answers the phone to collect your money. Then when I tried to go over what was discussed that same jerk was clueless. *Note to your establishment, invest in people who knows how to treat customers. Long story short the centerpieces we ordered were just ok. We did not the get the vases we requested and nothing was coordinated with the restaurant. Horrible experience! read more

Wow! I sent my girlfriend a "Be My Love" arrangement and she simply LOVED them!!! She called me the day she received them and she said "You really do Love me don't you!" Needless to say I was overjoyed with their service. She called me the next morning and said she was taking pictures so I could see the arrangement. Purchased a bouquet for my wife online using their website. What came didn't even come close to what was pictured and the "cut-crystal" vase highlighted on the website, which I paid extra for, didn't even show up. A plain glass vase is all that arrived. Friends sent a bouquet of roses to my mothers funeral. When they arrived they were half dead and the greenery was shedding. I saved what I could but the remaining roses lasted for then than 2 days. I called to report this and was treated very rudely and had to jump through hoops just to get my point across. After sending several pictures, and much time on this, they offered me to come pick up some flowers at the shop so I can put them in a vase. I live 2 1/2 hours away!! They wouldn't even deliver them to my sister who lives in the area! I do not recommend this florist! read more

Since I am a husband I ordered flowers for my wife's birthday at the last minute (the afternoon before). They arrived the next morning at her office and the arrangement is fabulous, big white roses and white lilies and some other white and green stuff, with a little bit of pink, just as I requested. Asked for my flowers to be a surprise. First thing delivery man did was call girlfriend to tell her flower delivery was on the way. Shorted me one flower. Delivery man was rude when asked about situation. Flowers looked old and not fresh at $3 a rose. All in all a horrible result on something that should have been very enjoyable for both the giver and receiver. Would never recommend or use them again. read more

Do NOT use this florist! An azalea plant was delivered by a very rude man. I notice that other reviews have mentioned this rudeness, which continued by phone when I called. I declined the azalea plant since it was way beyond its prime...almost wilted. No reputable florist would have delivered a plant in this state. They should have been ashamed. Instead they argued and refused to deliver another plant to replace it. It was wired by my aunt in Cleveland and she did not get a refund. This is no way to do business. They should have delivered another, fresher plant when requested. They should not have been rude, bickered with me, or refused to deliver a fresh plant that was already paid for. I ordered a pale pink corsage for my son's homecoming two weeks prior to the day we needed it. When I went to pick it up it was off white with stark white ribbon. I told them I ordered a pale pink one and unfortunately they did not have any pale pink flowers to make a new one. Working there was the owner's husband, the owner's daughter and another girl. The two girls tried to make it better, however the owner's husband could not have been more rude. He basically told me I was out of luck, and told me to take the corsage. I told him the off-white was unacceptable (didn't work with the girl's dress color). Then he said he would spray it pink. Since I was desperate, I told them to try. It was a joke. The flowers were half pink and half off-white and the stark white ribbon had pink spray sporadically over it. The one person who really tried to make it better was the girl who was not related to the owner. And to top it off, I paid $38 for it! I ended up getting a refund from the girl who was not related to the owner. Then I went to Flower 21 down the street who made me the most beautiful corsage in pale pink for $25!!! I will not be returning to Deerfield Florist and recommend that you don't either. I understand that mistakes happen, but the owner's husband was rude and handled it horribly. read more
