My daughter is starting her sophomore year, and we've been very happy with the school so far. She's been involved in a mix of extracurricular activities, and I've loved seeing her discover new interests while building confidence along the way. Western offers so many ways for students to get involved that it's easy to find something that's a good fit. Academically, Western has exceeded my expectations. The AICE program is challenging, and students are encouraged to push themselves while receiving the support they need to be successful. The preparation for AICE exams has been outstanding, which is a tremendous advantage for families looking for a rigorous academic experience in a public high school. The variety of advanced courses also gives students the opportunity to prepare for college in a meaningful way. I've also been impressed by the teachers, coaches and administrators. It's clear they want students to succeed, and they do a nice job recognizing accomplishments and creating a positive school environment. Every student's experience will be different, but if you're looking for a public high school with strong academics, plenty of opportunities outside the classroom and a community that encourages students to grow, Western is definitely worth considering.

I was threaten that he would fail kindergarten ! I had never heard that in my life so I began to research different private schools and happens to find this hidden jewel !!!! Everybody is very nice and I am very grateful I meet Mrs Kim Hudson his kindergarten teaches she took my son under her wings and he excelled academically in a short period of time !!! She is very loving and truly cares about all the kids in her class!!!My son graduates kindergarten and now this year he is in first grade!!!! He loves going to school and feels confident now !!!The principle Mrs Church is caring and loving and wants the best for the kids !! The secretary Mrs Debra Dias is also a doll!! Thank you very much for everything you have made a difference in my sons life !!! I totally recommend this wonderful school it's like a big loving family!!!

I just had the worst dinner of my life at Cracker Barrel in Viera Florida when 150 of your students…read morescreamed the entire time in the restaurant. When multiple customers asked their chaperones to ask the children to use their indoor voices, the chaperones rolled their eyes and were very condescending to the older gentlemen. Mind you these gentlemen were very nice and cordial while speaking to the chaperones. Sadly not even the manager of the restaurant would do anything about it. Because all she saw was dollar signs. #DoBetter

Security is lacking more than ever and you can buy a pot brownie or some acid tabs in second hour everyday since giant duffle bags aren't an alarm to anyone at all. I went to this school all four years and it's the biggest joke of an education system I've been in. It makes sense to see why most of the US sees Florida as the lack in IQ and education state coming to these school grounds. The staff barely taught the correct curriculum when needed and didn't offer proper guidance too. If you wanted to talk to your guidance counselor about classes or progress and opportunities for career growth they would be impossible to find unless you were an IB student. Even when emailed they'd tell you to meet them on a day which would be 2 weeks out and still not be found. The students come from a wide array of slums and hoods which is very unattractive. It makes me happy to know I graduated a prison like system and now in college talking to advisors that HELP their students to become a better person and am now on a career path to medical excellence to provide to a family someday far out of this joke state and tell them to throw out that reunion letter when I get it...

My daughter always was ready for school but in public school rushed and couldn't wait to be picked up. Now at TGP she always wants to stay. The center doesn't limited their teaching and learning between the 4 walls. They have C-A-C ( City As Classroom)which is amazing. I never knew Fort Lauderdale had so much to offer as learning tools.
