Though it is a small school, the French American International School of Boca Raton allows for a lower student to teacher ratio which is a gift. My eldest child was in the gifted and talented program in her previous school, and this small teacher to student ratio has afforded the teachers to individualize and differentiate the curriculum to meet her individual needs. She is challenged, motivated and HAPPY. My middle child has blossomed at FAIS. She has gained more confidence as she is asking more questions and is engaged in group activities because of the more one on one time she receives at FAIS. She also takes greater pride in her work completion and strives to excel each and every day. She has also formed some wonderful friendships at the school as the children at this school are kind and open-minded.I can honestly state that all of the teachers are passionate about teaching. The teachers are approachable and so accommodating to students and families. My children and I feel cared for. FAIS recently acquired International Baccalaureate (IB) accreditation. The IB coordinator is fantastic and this accreditation is just another bonus. It encourages such a well-rounded education! As my eldest child says "FAIS is a gem of a school" and I could not agree more! My eldest is taking standardized exams for middle school admissions placements (24-25 school year). I have received her multiple scores and her percentiles have actually moved up since last year across all academic areas. This just validates how excellent the academics are at FAIS! She is very loving and truly cares about all the kids in her class!!!My son graduates kindergarten and now this year he is in first grade!!!! My daughter walked me all over the school and I have no idea how she doesn't get lost? The portables they have are the nicest ones that I've ever seen at a school, first class looking. All the teachers that I met were very nice and all utilize technology which makes things easier for us parents to keep up with our kids in school. The car line for afternoon pick up is a mess. I have to wait in the line for an hour and after sitting here for an hour, I get parents that want to pull that car in front of mine and cut me, unbelievable! There needs to be a better way to pick up our kids after school... it's extremely congested.

I decided to go back to to school and I quickly realized I was in need of help with College…read moreAlgebra. I called Dave and he encouraged me to come in. At first I was a little put off because the students there are mostly in elementary, middle or high school but that was not an issue at all. Eric and Eric usually helped me and they knew the material on a deep level. I wasn't only shown how to do problems but the concepts were also explained to me. My professor did not pay as much attention to detail as the tutors at Mathnasium did. I really appreciated their patience, expertise and approach. If I didn't understand what they were saying, that was ok, they would try to explain it again or in a different way so that I could understand. If you have a child that is struggling with Math or a superstar in Math Mathnasium is a great place to bring them because they can teach at every level. If you are a college student and unsure about whether or not to pull the trigger, I highly recommend this place. For the amount of tutoring you can receive 5 days a week, it is a great value when compared to private tutoring. I can't say enough positive things about the people that work there and the owner Dave. They are stand up people that are dedicated to helping students with Math and truly care about your success and you as a person.

When multiple customers asked their chaperones to ask the children to use their indoor voices, the chaperones rolled their eyes and were very condescending to the older gentlemen. Mind you these gentlemen were very nice and cordial while speaking to the chaperones. Sadly not even the manager of the restaurant would do anything about it.
