What shocked us most was the lack of compassion and understanding for a young child still learning emotional regulation -- especially while also dealing with bullying issues that were repeatedly minimized. Rather than helping him grow through challenges, the environment made him feel labeled and defeated. Schools should nurture children emotionally, not damage their self-esteem and sense of safety.
